Vía ferrata Barranc de la Foig — Local services in Tivissa

It’s an interesting VF along a small canyon, no water in 05/23. Very few markings. On approach when you see the sign for VF on your left follow the path straight on. In the canyon it’s mostly scrambling along the overgrown and not marked path, we followed our instincts and referred to the map. It’s good to have a route on your phone, we had 3-4G. It’s K2 but clamps are sparse and more rock contact so shorter people may find it challenging. The return path to the village Tivissa is to go left up the hill ( the sign directs to the start of the VF) to almost its top. Then follow the yellow marked path ( on the stone under the pine tree) to the left, down the hill, poorly marked. Nice views from the top, you can follow the path to the top...

Este comentario te va a ayudar porque te vas a perder seguro haciendo esta via ferrata. Primero el acceso marca como dos caminos. Coge el de la derecha camina, sortea arbustos piedras y zarzas, camina y camina y llegas a la via ferrata. Hay 4 subidas. Molan mucho. Vale ahi viene el problema llegas arriba y no sabes hacia donde ir. Has de localizar una caseta/masia abandonada. La has de dejar a la derecha y subir hacia arriba. Te encuentras un murito que has de atravesar y una vez llegas arriba (no sufras, te dara la impresion que estas perdidisimo pero no) bueno una vez estas arriba ves la luz. Un camino. Mirando a las vistas coge el camino a la izquierda. Camina camina camina y no dejes de caminar 30 min minimo y ya sales de la via ferrata. De...

Es una ferrata diría de nivel k2. Muy poco señalizada. Llegar desde el parking, subes recto y encuentras un cartel que te indica hacia la derecha. Luego continúas por un barranco hasta que llegas al final y allí arranca la vía ferrata. El inicio es lo más interesante de la ferrata. Luego se camina mucho, sin tramos de ferrata. No está casi nada señalizada, seguir por el camino que está marcado. Hay muchos agarres que son finos y están bastantes doblados. El final costó mucho encontrar el sendero de salida. Hay otra ferrata cerca que es mucho más interesante. Como primer ferrata para alguien sin experiencia...
