Disappointed by the place. We ordered goatling (cabrito) and ribs. When serving the waiter said "lamb (cordero) and ribs". I replied to him that we ordered "goatling and ribs" so he said "yes goatling and ribs". In practice difficult to tell what we really had (goatling or lamb). Then when we got the check, they charged us goatling and lamb. Goatling was more expensive than lamb and lamb was more expensive than ribs. So they tried to charge us the price of the lamb instead of the ribs and we paid the price of the goatling while it was likely lamb as announced at first. In addition the quality of the food was not that good for the price we paid (goatling - 18,50 euros plus tax ; ribs - 13,50 euros plus tax ; Total of 40,47 euros with 2 small bottles of water and bread). The ribs was fat with an oily sauce while it was supposed to be grilled. Re the goatling/lamb, not much meat to eat. Would not recommend that place if you have the choice (Be aware that there are not that many restaurants opened late in the area so a lot of people are going there because there is no...
Read moreThis was not a good experience . I was hoping to be surprised but of course I was not. I ordered a T- Bone steak guy says best steak we have here the meat comes from Tejeda . So the steak comes raw I ordered it medium . I ask could you please cook this a bit more it comes back unchewable and the whole inner side of the steak raw .He comes to the table and tells me that its medium . I live in NYC when I'm not here and have eaten in the best steak houses there are , and when you eat in a steak house or( they say meat here) they bring you a whole new steak . This place is a joke I would not recommend this place or ever come her again. How people give this place anything but a 1 I have no idea .They must not have eaten out much or they are drinking and don't know the difference really not good . In the end they charged me 23 euro which is not the issue it's the food was not eatable .The guy says we have been here for 40 years I was think should closed a long time ago. I enjoyed the 3 little potatoes. The place has no heart it's just...
Read moreAs many have said, this place is a tourism trap.
Came here on a bus tour so limited options led us here. Had I read the reviews first I would have gone to the cafe on the hill or grabbed a sandwich from the stalls opposite.
Menus The first thing I noticed which really annoyed me was the fact they have a Spanish menu (quite comprehensive with various options and price ranges) and a ‘tourist menu’ that’s incredibly limited and overpriced. Me and my partner came in, like many on the bus tour and were greeted with the tourist menu. A couple of people on the bus, fluent in Spanish, were offered the extensive menu. When we went up to get one and used translator to order the server basically huffed.
Food Only had a few bits but ultimately, relatively overpriced and under seasoned.
Service Ok, nothing to write home about. Almost made to feel out of place unless you’re ordering a bottle of wine and two expensive dishes. No warm welcome or goodbye.
Overall, a underwhelming experience in a venue that seems like it preys...
