Lidl has its good and bad sides as most places. Good as in decent prices, great selection of basic foodstuff with the various little extra to make the day a little brighter. Meat, sausages and various frozen foodstuff goes hand in hand with a very decent selection if vegetarian and vegan options. Veggies and fruits is pretty much always spot on. Did I mention chocolate and cookies? Oh yes, you can find anything from basic to that luxurious option. Cereals and such have a wide range as well.

Bad sides? Messy.... The low cost brings the low staffing. Till and unpacking is priority with tidyness being set aside. Employ someone to simply tidy the shops a couple of hours.

Här handlar vi flera ggr i veckan. Bra charkvaror, bra glass (Yngsta barnbarnet älskar de små ministrutarna), alltid nybakat bröd, stans billigaste fikabröd. Extra plus för att man här kan få färska LAUGEBRETZELN som jag är så van att äta vid frukost när jag förr var i Sydtyskland ofta. För dig som inte vet - man delar kringlan med en skarpslipad kniv och sedan stryker man smör på snittytorna - lägger ihop den och njuter. När Lidl öppnade i Borås var sortimentet litet mer "tyskt" men har idag svängt över till att ha en hel del finska specialiteter som risgrynsgrötpiroger. Men förvisso kan man köpa Spätzle.

Tyvärr har denna "av-tyskning" medfört att vi som älskar SCHWEINEOHREN (grisöron) tyvärr inte kan få dessa läckra bakverk längre. Men ibland finns spanska miniatyrer att köpa när det är temavecka - då får man hamstra. Parkeringen är litet kaosartad där såväl höger/vänster-varv...
