Farsta Shopping Centre — Local services in Stockholm

One of the WORST service ever. So bad that I phoned up Åhlens HQ to launch a complaint. Went in to buy a white Tee for my model job tomorrow and saw WERA Tee on Sale with a YELLOW round label -50% off. On top of the rack stand stated 50% OFF REA. I checked all the Tees for my size and took one and went to cashier to purchase. The Åhlens cashier lady named MUKHAIO, a lady profiled me. I saw how she looked at me. Look, I lived close by and have no makeup, just wanted to buy and go and get back. I had a hunch by her look towards me that she is not very nice and I was Right! She looked at the TEE and the label, tie off the yellow label and said in Swedish loudly and impolitely, with accusation tone, This is NOT ON SALE. 300SEK is the ORIGINAL PRICE. She looked and sounded as if I was a thief of sort? Taking a yellow label to paste on an original tee? So maybe I misunderstood? Guess what? She stormed, yes the word is stormed off to the rack and I followed and stood beside and told her to flip to every single piece. She flipped to the first 3 blouses and pointed out that it was only these 3 and the rest were wrongly price. And I told her that all of them were wrongly price? You should check properly (Because I think then that was awfully a lot of wrong pricing with the same yellow REA 50 % off label with a TOP banner that says REA 50% off on that little rack!) She stormed off again in and out of the door within seconds, (she didn’t ask anyone) I was like O..k...ay, and I was still pretty chill. She stood back at the cashier and look downwards kinda expecting me to pay without telling me the price? I told her, so is it 150 SEK then? (In swedish) She nod, look downwards, and said ,150 SEK, nothing more. Didn’t smile, didn’t say anything, didn’t look at me, didn’t apologise, and look nowhere and her body language tells me she is unhappy with me and obnoxious. I then went off to buy shampoo and paid at the other cashier under Johanna. Both of them chatting while serving customers. Johanna at least seems fine towards me upon paying. I looked at Mukhaio the cashier next to her again, she still gave me that unfriendly look again, “undeserving sort of?” and this is when I could not take it anymore and I told her, “next time, if you made a mistake, do apologise to customer or at least admit it. Please do not treat your customer so rudely next time. Please have some service,” I said it in English this time. She was unhappy and said NO, it wasn’t on SALE. (I was like wow, she didn’t want to admit her error still) She went on saying she isn’t in the wrong and kept saying No No No and it wasn’t on SALE (I translate in English) Come on, if it wasn’t on SALE then why are you charging me the same pricing and the whole rack there, shouldn't you roll in and rectify the error? Goodness. To be frank, it is not big a deal if one made an err. Just laugh it off and tell me oh, I made a mistake. You are right with a smile. Just be frank and honest and be professional. I do not own anyone a dime. The problem is with these bad and unhappy employees, if you have a bad day, don’t come to work. If you don't like your job, quit. Don’t make hell for people who are enjoying shopping, paying money for a product. And yes, if ever someone treats you in an unfair manner, don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself....

En relativt uppdaterad lista på affärer och restuarangèr inne i Farsta centrum: Burger King, Expresso House, Waynes coffeshop,, Ur&Penn, Glitter, Synsam, Stadium, Intersport, Dressman, Stadsmissionen, Fitness &Hälsa, Din Sko, Eurosko, Bibliotek, 4- 5 frisörsalonger, nagelteknologer, Vårdcentralen, Polisen, veterinär, Stadsdelsnämden Cervera, Hemtex, Hemköp, Konsum, Lidl, Bageri, Arken zoo, Lyxchoklad, Normal, Taste of USA, Kicks, Kappahl, Banker, Pantbanken, Mediamarkt, 3, Telia mm och ett x-antal butiker som inte tillhör någon stor franchising kjedja😉 Pressbyrån, ett par pizzerior, Kinamat, Taco bar, Tommys grillkorv - Bästa korven i Stockholm..den steks inte utan den verkligen grillas 👍👍👍 Och inte att förglömma... torghandeln med billiga priser på både blommor, grönsaker och exotiska frukter.

Xra pluspoäng får Farsta centrum pga att de tillhandahåller en insätningsautomat på bottenvåningen bredvid bankomaten, har maskinerna för pantflaskor i anslutning till entrén i garaget plus det är 5 minuters gångväg till stranden eller om man hellre vill bada i poolen så ligger Farsta simhall och IP på samma gångavstånd. Många fina promenadstråk utmed vattnet och gott om plats för att vila då det finns en hel del parkbänkar längs med gångvägarna och varför inte avsluta dagen med en middag eller en nygräddad våffla i bygdegårdens restuarang som ligger granne med strandpromenaden och Farsta IP 😉. I Farsta centrum finns nästan allt du behöver... bygg upp en Söderorts IKEA med Dollarstore och Jysk som grannar så behöver inte Farstaborna lämna stadsdelen...

Anything you need from a suburban mall you can get here, except for a cinema! Many high street shops have branches and there are many places to eat, contrary to some reviews I've read here which need to be removed as they are not accurate! I live in the area so I know what I'm talking about! The mall is quite large and surrounds a courtyard where people sit to drink coffee ;and a very reasonable fruit& flower market that adds color and life to the shopping experience ;thereby saving it from being purely pedestrian and raises the tone from being overtly functional ,to pleasantly functional ! And that's all I have to say...
