I strongly recommend the hike to the Klimsenkappelle! If you start from Fräkmüntegg, I strongly suggest NOT to take the path with the warning ⚠️ signs of exposed path as it really is a very exposed cliff with metal ropes to get there. Instead, start from Fräkmüntegg BUT take the alternative route that starts a little down and does a more far circle route but it is WAY less dangerous and you can enjoy it more, it takes around 1.5 hours from Fräkmüntegg. I leave some pictures here of the second good alternative, and then some of the first more dangerous one. Once you get to the Klimsenkappelle the hike towards Pilatus is relatively easy and just like 45 minutes. I then recommend descending Pilatus but hiking to Aemsigen and there taking the little tram down towards the lake.

Church perched very close to steep cliff, it looks pretty. We did not go to the actual location but the picture here was taken from the visitor area on top of Pilatus mountain.
