Swiss Summer Wonderland. Le Grand Chamossaire at 2112m is an easy acessible peak with a 6 seater chairlift in summer and winter. The 360° views range from Lake Léman (Lake Geneva), the Jura range, the Eiger north face, Les Diablerest peaks, the glaciers near Chamonix and the Dents du Midi. For a walk there are 2 ways down: 1 through the Petit Chamossaire and Lac de Bretaye, or straight down to Bretaye with the cog train stop or through the Roc d'Orsay Telecabine 20min walk down.

Le Chamossaire is such a cool mountain with stunning views and beautiful nature all around. You can often see cows grazing nearby, which adds to the authentic Alpine vibe. The atmosphere is calm, fresh, and simply amazing – a perfect spot to enjoy the mountains.

I recommend all trained and motivated people to walk to Le Chamossaire from Villars-sur-Ollon. The landscape is very beautiful. It's 13 km round trip but be careful because it's all uphill, quite a difficult hike for non-experts.
