Katambuga House was a beautiful location to overnight before beginning our trip to Tarangire NP, and was the perfect spot for rest after an exhausting and long flight to Tanzania. The hotel is beautiful and each room feels like you have your own private garden to enjoy with the room. The rooms were extremely clean, had all the basic necessities, and provided us the respite we needed before a two week safari trip. The food at the hotel was also delicious and healthy. Read moreStayed in the lodge for a grand total of 18 hours, en route to Serengeti. But we had a wonderful experience in this quaint hotel, so am compelled to write a review. And wishing we stayed here for another night.||They only have 8 rooms in the lodge, which in effect was beneficial for those of us who wanted some downtime after a tedious gorilla trek in Uganda. This also means no queue at all for breakfast.||I love the rooms. Big enough bed and their bathrooms are probably the best in our entire trip. Breakfast was OK but you can ask made-to-order eggs.||The decor at the reception was very inviting. There were a lot of interesting coffee table books...
