Mambo Gosh you guys have no idea how much I miss dar. Must say if you learn to love there then it's easy for you to understand this market otherwise you just a user lol. Usually foreigners love to go here cause everything you see here is all handmade. When they see muzungu means white they charge you with triple the price. When they know you know Swahili then you get the deal. The deal is bargain. If they see you and demand 80.000tsh for the painting then be smart and talk for 30.000 or just move out. This how it works. When they said its 5.000tsh I paid only 2.000tsh. So be careful don't get ripped. They see your new to town they raise up price like hell. Honestly I can't afford to pay 80.000 or even a laki moja for those paintings cause that's a bit too much. I rather rent a small room. Enjoy shopping just be careful. And be even more careful with ppl at the signal they can just walk your bag and belongings while you sitting in a bajaj or in a car with the window glass down lol. Ppl come on Boda Boda And steal it from you. One more danger thing is Boda Boda pls be safe it's k to spent a 500tsh extra and go by a bajaj then to risk your life on a Boda Boda. I used uber always very reasonable and they gave me good deals on uber since I travelled frequently. The best way to travel is uber if you ask me cause I spent most of my life there...

Don't be discouraged by so many traders who want to sell you something. Enjoy the handycraft and take your time to find what you...
