Supposedly starting in Chiang Dao, the Ping river might have sources in Viang Haeng, up North towards Mae Sai or Myanmar.. Not sure! The Ping river crosses Chiang Mai and joins the Chao Phraya river to Bangkok. Along the Mae Nam Ping, dams and many places with attractions, swimming, fishing, food, barges with restaurants, kayaking or bamboo rafting...
