Wild Hog Saloon Pub and Burger Restaurant — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

My girlfriend and I just discovered this pub/restaurant only 3 minutes away from our house, and it's now the second day in a row that we've come here for dinner and drinks. We are writing this review sitting at the pub!

First off, they have Guiness! You can tell it's absolutely fresh and ice cold!

Second, the burgers are just phenomenal... We had the classic burgers which were absolutely delicious and you could really taste the quality of the meat. Tonight we will probably try the Stuffed Burgers everyone raves about.

Third, they sell some of the best Biltong I've ever tasted and for a steal of a price!

All their menu items are fairly priced and the quality is literally through the roof.

Make sure you also try their chicken wings! You can ask for it battered or plain and it's as crispy as can be.

Pool table is also open to your leisure!

Suffice to say, we've found our new watering hole only minutes...

The atmosphere is perfect for solo drunks that like to be hit on by the hostesses. Customers were shouting sexual obscenities and the hostesses were as well. Do not take your girlfriend or family here if you’re looking for a nice burger. You’ll get the nice burger but your wife/girlfriend/children won’t feel comfortable. Our waitress made us feel like we were doing them a favor for showing up

I’m not surprised with the response. My girlfriend did NOT arrive before me. We came in the same truck and entered and sat down at the same time! No one told us it was closed. Family friendly? We had our daughter there. Maybe you should get your facts straight before even further damaging your reputation. Or perhaps you were one of the people that has no respect for your family...

Probably the best burger place in Chiang mai. If you are hankering for a REAL burger experience in Thailand this is the place to go. Double patties, stuffed burgers, peanut butter and jam burgers, and more. The onions rings are especially good served hot and crispy.

There are draft beers of Thai beers as well as Guinness. Cocktails and other bottled beers and other non alcoholic beverages are also available. I believe happy hour is from 7-8pm.

The service is good and there are TVs for sports or 90s style music. There is a pool table but there is only on pool stick and it is a snooker table that with regular pool balls which both have seen better days.

If you want a good burger and a cold drink this is the place to go. If you want to bring your kids I'm sure they'd love the food. Just keep in mind this is a bar...
