Saturday Organic Market — Local services in Chiang Mai Province

Small but lovely organic market held once a week on a Saturday. Vendors are a very friendly bunch .

Besides the organic vendors , you can find crafts and lots of food on offer. We went several times and there was a free sampling of noodles on one of the days

As you walk in, you are greeted by a friendly, what I think is a Uni student offering you free seeds to plant. She also handles the market's merchandise which you can exchange for coupons you get from the various sellers.

Directly opposite is a vege farm run by the university . First time actually seeing carrots grown here. They have the sweeter yellow variety passion fruit vines here also.
