Wat Kaeo Phichit is located on the right bank of Bang Prakong River , Kaeo Pichit rd., Tambon Na Mueang, Amphoe Mueang, Chang Wat Prachin Buri, approximately 2 kilometers eastern area of the town.In A.D. 1879 ( B.E. 2422 ), this temple was built by a local millionaire ( Ms Pramoon KAEWPRASANGSIT ). In A.D. 1918 ( B.E. 2461 ), Chao Phraya Abhaibhubejhr had Ubosot of this temple constructed with the architectural style of Thai, China Europe and Cambodia, Ubosot ‘s exterior shown the Asian apic ( Ramayana ), interior were depicted with paintings of Buddhist legend, ancient Greek and Roman style dome concrete building with the Corinthian...

This temple has long legend that very interesting. If you want to know the history of it, recommend to join the conversation with the monk. He told me the legend of each piece of this place. I am very sorry that i have no more time to learn the history of this temple and Chao Phraya Abhaibhubejhr as much as i desire. For sure that i will be back again for talking with the monk again.
