Koh Kood Princess — Local services in Trat Province

Booked Koh Kood Princess two weeks in advance, and boy did they suck. English website not linked properly and when I spoke to an employee of course no-one spoke English either.

When we arrived at the office we were lectured for not answering our phone, even though we had explained two weeks in advance what resort we would be staying in. Why they had to check up on this one hour before again, and why they didn’t keep records is a mystery.

The office staff barks orders with sunglasses on while on the parking lot, and the chairs inside will not accommodate a foreigner who’s 5’9 like myself. Welcome to Crampville, population approx. 50 people.

The board of tourism ought to check up these ferries regularly, because accidents are rife and it seems like almost every month a boat full of Chinese tourists explodes/sinks/crashes or burns.

Been using this service twice during low season. Staffs are friendly with enough English to help you buy ticket. Even buying ticket from another company. Parking is available for private car at cost of 50thb daily. Make sure you keep your ferry ticket to prove number of days you parked your personal car there. There are only softdrink provided here. About the boat which im buying the ticket for. It is the smallest among the 3 company yet they are the cheapest in term of price as well.
