Very Disappointing Experience – Avoid This Store!

Visited this cake decorating supply store in International City today and had one of the worst customer service experiences ever. The Filipina cashier was incredibly rude from the moment we stepped in.

Disrespectful Attitude: We were politely trying to explain what we were looking for, but she responded with visible annoyance and dismissiveness.

Zero Assistance: Instead of helping us, she sent us all the way to the farthest corner of their stock room to search for items ourselves — completely unprofessional and lazy.

Rude About Pricing: When we inquired about wholesale rates, her response was not only unhelpful but also delivered in an outright rude tone. She made it clear she didn’t want to assist or accommodate in any way.

If you're looking for a reliable place to buy your cake supplies, do yourself a favor and skip this store. Save your energy, avoid the stress, and head to Dragon Mart instead — where at least you’ll be treated with basic respect.

To the owner: If you care about your business and want it to grow, start by training your staff properly. Attitudes like this will only drive customers away. Frankly, if these girls remain the face of your shop, they’ll take your business down faster than you think.

It is a small store but they have so much stuff. I was impress by all of the Patchwork cutters from London, the cookie cutters and molds! I would see cakes using the London cutters but never figured how it was done. Now, I know. Yay!

They have pastillage, Mexican paste, colored sugar paste, gum paste (I took the last one) and powered gum paste. If you are looking for cake dummies(one of my main reasons for going), you have to walk down three buildings to get it before that, you have to know the size so the person in the store can call the other store so it can be cut for you. Normally, they will deliver but not today.

I decided against the walk. It was over 41C/107F. I took a cab and I brought one bottle of water with me. Maranda was nice enough to refill my bottle when she found out I did not drive.

My taxi driver had no idea where it was. If they make the first turn at the round about, tell the taxi to keep straight for about a kilometer. G-6 is seen from the street on the right....

Overpriced and Very bad experience at shop.. I drove all the way to the shop for gel colors, you can’t open the box to check the colors, they don’t have expiry dates on the box it’s on the gel tube inside the box so you don’t know it’s expiry date until you buy it. The lady over there was like if you want to buy take it else leave it.. I was shocked. I stepped out of shop and just after couple of Minutes I realized I wanted to have other box of gel colors so when I called about that she said if you come with in 10 minuets then only we can exchange and she was so rude over call. I would never ever go to this shop again. Giving 2 starts just because they have all cake...
