Carrefour Market Ranches Souk Dubai — Local services in Dubai

This is one of the WOST Carrefour branches. I complained to their manager many times but there's no hope. I told the manager that the organization of items is very bad. For example, you go to the fridge to buy some Probiotic Yoghurt, the flavors are scattered randomly, berries, mangoes, peaches, low fat, regular, so you'd have to hunt for the flavor you want for a long time till you get the desired amount instead of them placing them according to flavors and fat level next to each other.

I also told the manager that they have very low stock or no stock of the low calorie (lite) microwave popcorn, they only are left with the cheese or spicy flavored popcorn which has been lying there for months and no one is touching them. They just sem to buy random stuff from suppliers and throw them on the shelf without looking at what is in demand and what is not.

The place is full laborers or their own rude back office staff who keep giving customers weird looks and stares it's disgusting.

The prices are significantly higher than any Carrefour you've been at. Prices are just like Spinney's (over-priced big time) if not more for some items.

Also, the knowledge of the staff on the floor who are supposed to be there for assistance leaves a lot to be desired. Usually it's just one person who knows where all the items are and others are just standing there with very limited knowledge who eventually will just end up approaching that know it all person to get the answer. They seriously need to have more staff training to know what they sell, I can find stuff myself faster than having to wait for them to go and fetch answers.

The only reason they are still in business is because there is no other grocery store in the area so they get away with this poor...

Small to medium-sized modern store that has a good fresh fruit and vegetable section, meats and dairy products. The store is very bright, modern and well lit set within a small shopping mall.

There's a parking lot at the front of the mall, some with canopies, which had plenty of spaces when we visited though I should imagine at busy times the parking would be limited.

Has pretty much everything for your day to day needs. Plenty of staff on hand if needed.

The prices are higher than what you'd pay in the UK but pretty much what you'd expect to pay here in Dubai. The shelves were well stocked when we visited.

There are several self-service tills and two or three conventional 'staffed' tills.

Overall not a bad shopping experience.
