Large, open space with play park, tennis courts, football, rugby, bowls, large sweet chestnut trees, wooded area, cafe, parking and unexpected sea views. Went to the Adur Lions Fun Day which was fun and well-organised and it was good to be able to put forward views and ideas to further improve the park. Ideas such as improving the cafe, having park keepers, introducing safe water play, dog training classes etc. Buckingham Park is a great outdoor hub for all ages and for the whole family and is the largest, enclosed safe place easily accessed by the residents of Shoreham-by-Sea whether as pedestrians, cyclists, motorists or mobility...

Lovely old park. Sports area, wild area for dogs, children play park, cafe etc. Not an easy toilet for people with mobility problems. Don't think there is a disabled toilet. Lovely park to walk round with the dog. New wild area's. No change, still poor facilities for people with mobility problems. Tennis courts now have to be booked in advance, and a code is sent by email to enter. A step backwards for sports, particularly for kids. You can no longer just turn up and play. Booking is restricted to on the hour, £8,50. This isn't in the interests of sport, just a way to do away...
