Lovely little campsite, tucked back from the road. You can still hear the a27 but it's not intrusive. We were there for an event at Silverstone so it was busy, but this wasn't a problem as the atmosphere was very pleasant. The toilets were clean and always stocked with loo roll and hand soap, the showers could do with modernisation, there are only three and the night before the event only one was working so there was a queue. The electric pitches are quite tight, you will have other campers right up next to you if it's busy. The staff running the site were very friendly and helpful, and there is a nice washing up facility with soap and sponges, as well as some local info and games/books to use.

Had a lovely stay with my girlfriend and my son. The location is lovely and the site is big with the middle kept open for kids to play etc. Lovely addition of some chickens, peacocks and pigs. The site had a lovely atmosphere, very close to Bognor Regis and Felpham and Chichester/Goodwood. We had the lovely treat of having the Goodwood Spitfire flying over every day. My only criticism - and please take this as constructive - the toilet and shower facilities could do with a bit of love. That said, I would come again!

Liked: Easy to find the campsite. Friendly, smooth and straight forward check in. Flat spacious pitches. Very clean toilets, showers and wash up areas. Lovely dark skies for star gazing. Super lovely staff, who couldn't do enough to ensure a great stay.

Disliked: It's simply a matter of personal preference...I dislike unisex showers and toilets.

There are only 3 toilet cubicles, with the gent's urinals behind a curtain at the end of a small cabin. Not enough facilities for the size of the site if there's a good occupancy. The space between the cubicle doors and the sinks is narrow. if you are large of stature, you can't get past anyone stood at the sinks.

As a female staying in a tent, the use of the facilities is vital. Getting ready in the mornings, (teeth, hair, make up etc) was a challenge. I'm a private person and the small, narrow toilet cabin with all 3 cubicles taken by males enjoying their lengthy morning ablutions was an experience!. The sounds, grunts and odours were quite a shock to the senses!

The human body has it's functions and there's no shame in that...I just don't want to participate in other people's private moments.

Also, I personally felt like I couldn't use the showers, this is no fault of the site. Again, just personal preference. I wasn't comfortable in unisex facilities.

Having said all that, the facilities were very clean and campers all respected the communal areas.

We will definitely return, but will bring our own toilet, shower and pop up...

Liked: Overall a peaceful gem of a site. I booked last minute for 5 nights with my dog. Kay (sorry if I spelt name wrong) was lovely to deal with. I had a couple of conversations with Rob who couldn't be more helpful. Really cheery guy who clearly cares about the site. I didn't have any major issues. There are 3 showers and 3 toilets (apparently gents urinals as well, but I didn't check them out!!!!) I can imagine these getting pretty busy during peak times but I had no issues at all. I loved the washing up areas and that there was a communal fridge/freezer and microwave. I didn't use them but great to have the option. Also really cute there is a book swap on the site. Pitches were level and well kept, I could walk around bare foot and there were no spikey weeds. The facilities were really clean and loo roll kept stocked - I did bring my own after reading a previous review but I didn't need it. I don't have children but lovely to see there's a little play park and some goals on site as well to provide entertainment for little ones. Thank you for having me and my dog. We really enjoyed our stay.

Disliked: N/A found everything I needed and more. I have taken 1 star off for location because I found a walk nearby but it involved walking along the road which was pretty dangerous with no footpaths, absolutely not the campsites fault - just good ol' country road issues. Plenty of fields to wander...

Liked: Proximity to the sea, to be able to bike ride there. Availability of a fridge, freezer, microwave and kettle in the 'kitchen' shed.

Disliked: A lot of noise of permanent residents: arguing, screaming at their children, bad language and banging around doing some sort of metal reclaim or the like, with angle grinders and banging going on, particularly early at the weekend.

Facilities were basic - toilets were clean, kitchen sinks were ok, cleaned each week by the looks of it, not a daily good clean, but the shower areas were very grimy and unpleasant - like you don't want to touch anything while in there. The smell from the septic tank back into the shower block was pretty bad generally, but so bad on some occasions, it was absolutely foul, in a confined space, it was all I could do to hold my breath, not retch and get out asap.

A dog friendly site - meaning there might be a lot of noisy dogs. One couple had 7. Dog faeces around the site - not cleared up when advised staff - but also no detailed 'sweep' of the site to find and move items, like this, or the general litter around the site.

The above items are all very obvious to owner/staff - hence the pride/desire comment.

also: Noisy from farm work right next to the end of the field, each morning from about 3.30am - potato picking into an industrial container - so very...
