My husband and I Came to wentworth store. Huge shock and frustrating to witness. no social distancing whatsoever! not even by their own staff. Who by the way are the most grumpiest, unprofessional and rude staff I’ve ever faced (if I could say that) I happen to ask for price on an item to which the shop floor labourer didn’t bother lifting her head to look just continued to look down into a box and said she’d get a price. A few seconds later she looked at the item and walked away. Minutes later she came back and gave a price in the most awful grumpiest tone.
Tall lady with specs on customer service was nice with our card, but shop floor is terrible!
We are all in the same position. there is no need to display your frustration onto customers. I am sure you wouldn’t like it if I treated you in such manner. No social distancing, store was jammed packed full, people were going in but queue was pathetic in and out. Everyone is touching each other or pushing And touching each other’s trolleys out of the way. The first isle was blocked to the point we couldn’t get through as there was a pile up around the meat & poultry section. Same issue in outdated veg warehouse. Things are not that cheap and I had to constantly check prices. Fruit veg cold warehouse part is ridiculously unorganised, filthy and no pricing. You try to communicate with shop floor but the ladies don’t even look at you first line of contact with customers is eye to eye contact or smile but lacks at every point. I find that extremely rude. I work in upper frontline nhs sector and I would never treat anyone like that . Terrible place and for someone who works in nhs the lack of social distancing inside was atrocious, infuriating and frustrating to watch.very unorganised and staff are not the most helpful . Pay extra and stay...
Read moreSince Company Shop Wentworth opened up membership to a wider group, including those on benefits, the overall shopping experience has unfortunately gone downhill. The shop is now constantly overcrowded with riff raff and uncivilised people pushing and shoving. It's chaotic and has become really unpleasant to visit. On top of that, the prices are no longer the bargains they used to be. Many items are now close to regular supermarket prices, even though they often have very short use-by dates, which used to be reflected in the discount. It’s getting harder to justify the trip. That said, most of the staff are still lovely and helpful — a real credit to the place, especially considering the awful customers they often have to deal with. They really do their best under difficult circumstances. However, there is one cashier (a woman with very short brown hair) who is consistently rude and unapproachable, which really detracts from the customer service experience. Sadly, it's just not worth going anymore like...
Read moreWhat ever went wrong with a bit of good old customer service? It's apparent in this store I'm grabbing myself a few bargains because I'm saving money on the thing we all like and that's a bit of decent customer service. Abrupt, rude and lazy staff sort of similar to those teenagers you found dossing off in high school bullying those who try to get a bit of a kick and make themselves feel better. If a dictionary hit a few of the staff members in the face the words please and thankyou still wouldn't enter there vocabulary because they are just so damn rude with their heads so far up their back ends with bright pink lip stick thinking theyre on a heirachy behind their customer service desk to those customers with genuine issues and queries. To keep is simple the staff in this store obviously need a bit of education in basic customer service because the reason they're not suceeding in their job and probably so miserable in it is because they have no common curtosey or politeness to succeed...
