Musbury Tor — Local services in Borough of Rossendale

Lived in the area most of my life, but first time ive been up there. Went up there from route next to Wavel garage. It is a little strange going through somebody's garden (even though it is a public footpath) to get up there. The walk isnt as long as it seems but is a rwasonably steep climb. At top, you get great views of the Rossendale Valley. There is a large rock sitting as an outcrop at the far corner of Tor which is great for admiring the view and a good picnic spot if you've brought the hamper with you.
