Miller Homes, Lambton Park — Local services in Bournmoor

Purchased a Sycamore house type, lovely looking houses, but poor workmanship and terrible after sales. The day we moved in they left us with no water, we were unable to use the toilet, have a shower or even fill the kettle. Sheets of plywood blocked doorways, we could not use our master bedroom for 2 weeks as they were still trying to correct the uneven floor level. Six months on and we still can’t move in fully, no carpets or flooring. Have now discovered all of the floors are not flat, staircase has been incorrectly installed and are not level.

We have been in the house over 6 months now and my hand basin is still hanging off the wall! My house is cold as the radiator sizes are inadequate to heat the house. I was assured they were correct by management and their heating engineers. Have now discovered the calculations were carried out on incorrect information! This is the tip of the iceberg! Wrote to CEO who did not even bother to reply just passed my complaint to the same team who keep telling me everything is ok. No denying it’s a beautiful place to live but If I could turn back the clock I would not have bought a property from Miller Homes! It would appear they only employ contractors who are not bothered about what trade comes after them no pride in the work they do.

They can’t even comply with building regulations, compromised DPC, obscured air bricks, floors that slope.

Defiantly not a five star builder as they advertise. Despite what they might say in their brochures the management don’t care once they have your money.

Don’t just read my review, there are lots more like mine on facebook etc. it is of course individual choice but I wish I had done more research before making the biggest...
