A beautiful semi-rural venue with a small selection of quality independent shops.

Made by Hand - crafts shop stocking handmade items by local artists and makers, which holds regular workshops.

Millie's Melts, which sellshandmade scents.

The Coach House, the newest business, which sells high-quality homewares - a mix of modern and pre-loved antique or vintage items.

The teddy bear repair workshop and sweet shop.

The Hay Loft Gallery, which is accessed via a door to the right of Millie's Melts and up a steep flight of stairs, (about 7 steps). This is a beautiful space with lots of natural light and prefect for displaying art. Tony Brodrick curates a regularly changing display of work by a number of highly-skilled local artists.

The Mulberry Tree Cafe - a large cafe selling quality food and drinks with large sitting area within the old horse stalls and outside in the small garden and courtyard which provides both rain and sun shelters.

Dogs are welcome in many of the businesses and cater for in the cafe.

The toilets can be found in the corner of the courtyard and includes one accessible one which also doubles as a baby changing area. The toilets are accessed via a red door off the courtyard or from a door at the far end of the cafe which leads to the same ones. There are not many and at buddy times there can be queues.

Don't miss the regular farmers market held in the courtyard!

Additional car parking can be found in from of the hotel via the alternative road from the gates. From here you can also access the garden. The hotel is a wedding venue, has conference rooms and can be rented for larger workshops and craft fairs.

All Saints church is accessed via the old slab footpath. Pass through the smaller metal gates found near the courtyard and into the road. Follow the beautiful sandstone wall...

Went for Sunday afternoon tea at Strelley Hall with h the family, and you'll eat in very nice surroundings but the food served here is just ok, nothing special at all. I had a ploughman's platter, which came with some hard crusty cheese that had been left out too long. The service is also a little shambolic, there were 9 of us, and food arrived inconsistently, with me waiting over 30 mins to get a latte; even then I had to ask for it again, and had the waitress bringing me the written order, to ask me to point it out on the order, possibly suggesting it was never ordered, yet it was clearly written...

Beautiful café and good walking opportunity for all, who lives in the Nottingham Nest 59 Westwick Rd

We have been extremely lucky as I am sure are all the previous guests and the ones still to come to spend a night at the Nottingham Nest. It’s a rare experience when you check in not as a stranger but as a family member. That is probably the best renovation of a common terrace I’ve ever seen. Every little nook is done with utmost quality. The host left on the shelves and in the fridge everything we might possibly want and more. I wish we come back and could...

Attended a few classic car meetings over the last few months. A great venue to show cars at the rear of the hall........which is in fact the side!! The cafe/ restaurant is a great venue for hot drinks, pastry, breakfasts, snacks and full meals. There are 2/3 boutique shops on site that are worth browsing around. I've actual bought a couple of interesting items on the days I've been. A great venue to show a car, start or finish a walk or just to have a coffee. Oh and shop for things not seen elsewhere.
