"I had waited a long time to play on the Championship Course at Burnham and Berrow and it didn't disappoint" I am the Secretary/ Organiser of a small golf society from Derbyshire and we recently visited this splendid venue on our annual golf weekend. From the moment I entered the Pro shop to introduce myself I was made to feel welcome and I was given all the information we needed for our round and the head Pro was most helpful in selecting the appropriate course for our party and advised which hole for Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive. The clubhouse and staff were fantastic and some of our party had some food which they all enjoyed. We then made our way to the first tee where we were greeted by Martin the starter who again was most informative about the course and the correct lines to use on the blind shots etc. Then we took to the course itself and what a course it is. I have been organising our weekend society breaks for many years now and we have played at many links courses all over the country but pretty much every one our members agreed that this course was the finest by far. It was an incredible experience to say the least but sadly my golf didn't quite match our surroundings but the day will live long in the memory. I have a feeling that our group will be insisting on a return sooner rather than later and I can't wait. Anybody who gets the opportunity to play on this incredible track they should grab it...

Amazing golf course and team.

Played as a visitor for first time last month. Nick sorted out my tee time and was super helpful on phone and email to confirm.

On arrival the pro shop team were extremely welcoming and pointed out where to go for everything.

Finally there was an on course starter who told us everything we need to know about the course and the play on that day.

The course itself was excellent. Very challenging, every hole was different providing a different test, and the all round condition was great. Especially how wet it has been. We played in mid-March and you could not really tell bar one hole where the wet areas were roped off anyway. Compared to other courses round here where they are closed or still on temps (still in April).

Really enjoyed it, so much so we are coming back to play in the opens in the summer and I had applied to join the club.

If you have the chance to play here I highly recommend...

What a fantastic 2 days our group of 12 had at Burnham and Berrow. The course is amazing, greens are as good as we've played, could have been a little more receptive. The rough can be brutal and plenty of balls needed. Lol We stayed in the Dormy House which is superb and recently renovated. The food is very good, breakfast is very tasty and 3 course meal was excellent. All the staff are very welcoming, from the starters, the professionals in the shopeand all the bar and catering staff . Do you want to get out Thank you all so much. I can't recommend Burnham and Berrow highly enought tough course as you would expect, but very playable. Thanks again to all the staff at Burnham for making our stay so memorablr.e Kind regards...

Oh my goodness what a treat. We were three couples and we stayed in the Dormy house. Just perfect. Only minor issue was the USBs in the sockets didn't work. The course was magnificent, great condition and the fairways were running fast following the hot weather. The wind was kind which made a tough course playable. The food and service in the clubhouse was good and the Head professional and her team could not have been more kind or welcoming, good practice failities and a gem of a starter who briefed us well. Thank you B&B, highly recommended and will definitley return.

Beautiful place to play golf, we had a lovely twilight round where the conditions were tricky but didn't detract from how enjoyable the round was, some very testing holes and you can see why it's an open qualifying venue, should be on avid golfers bucket list and would definitely reccomend a buggy as the tees can sometimes be quite a way back from the green just played. Highly recommend and will hopefully be back to play it again! Stand out holes 2, 9, 10 & 17!
