Took two kids under 10 here during the Summer Holidays, on a weekday, at about 2pm. Wasn’t really sure what to expect looking at it from the outside, but there was a really good atmosphere as soon as we walked in through the door. We booked online that morning, and thankfulky managed to book in 3 games. As we ‘checked-in’, we heard staff telling someone there was a 3-hour wait for the next free lane as they hadn’t booked - which is understandable - so we were glad that we booked that morning.
The place was huge and much more exciting than I thought it may have been. There was a huge menu and assortment of treats and drinks; we didn’t get hot food, but the burgers did look nice. There were lots of combinations of Slushies and ice cream that you could get, which was great for the kids.
We were moved to a different lane as we were a tad earlier than our alloted time slot, and the people on that lane had already finished, so we got to start a bit earlier. On entering our names into the machine, we could take silly/sad/funny pictures to show up on the board. After every bowl, loads of animations appeared on screen with our photos cropped into them. Some were hilarious, and really added to the fun and excitement!
Our lane had some technical issues with the pin-mechanisms, but staff were really quick to respond and were really helpful in making sure it worked again. The softplay was a bit of fun after our games, as was the small arcade. Will definitely look at coming here again when we are next...
Read moreSeems like a good bowling and entertainment venue with some arcade machines and a small soft play area. Unfortunately, it was very overstimulating for my autistic child with a lot of lights, noises, smells etc so something to be aware of if you are thinking of going with someone with sensory difficulties.
There is a decent sized dedicated off road car park to the front. Inside, everything is in one large room. There are a good number of bowling lanes which you will probably want to book in advance as we visited thinking it would be quiet and were surprised by how busy it was.
There is a good amount of seating available for adults to relax in while children entertain themselves on the various arcade machines although you will need change to run them.
In the corner is a very small soft play, intended really for infants or very small children only.
There did seem to be a cafè serving food and drink although I didn't try it myself.
Although our visit didn't go as planned I would recommend a visit if you are down this way and are looking for...
Read moreI was absolutely horrified at the insensitivity of the staff today !!! What I witness was not just hugely inappropriate, but just down right bullying 😔 we where in for a coffee about 2pm today and there was a group of young children and there carers , the staff was laughing and making inappropriate hand action and movement that ...well it to disgusting to even wright. For a company that is church based I advise you to look at who you employ and if your reading this I suggest you watch your cctv to confirm this 😡😡😡... unfortunately I cannot respond to your comment , so I had to edit my first response .. I would of contacted the manager but as they where involved in this deplorable act , I felt I wouldn't of got a fair hearing to my concerns .. I given you the time stamp so you can see what all of you where doing 😡😡 and by your...
