This place is very expensive for what you get and it’s policies on not being able to jump if you don’t not buy their branded socks is the most silly thing I have ever heard. We have jumped in over 20 countries and purchased over 10 pairs of socks over the last year but this place will not let you jump unless you buy their branded socks otherwise you have to ā€œtrade inā€ your own new jump socks to buy theirs. The claim that your socks that you trade in for an extra Ā£1/2 go to charity but they can not tell you what charity or what their QC policy is. I would love to know what IOS they are operating to and what charity the socks go to and also how much money that have raised so far so I can support this (it’s normally an option). Also you can not bring your own water. But they do have gluten free nachos.

We had a party organised for daughters 9th birthday. We chose quiet slot later in the afternoon, were allocated host for the duration and allocated party room and everything was organised well. Clean place, Domino’s pizza delivered on time, plenty of squash. I like that you can enter the area and check on kids throughout as other jumping places don’t allow that so that’s a big plus from us as we could keep an eye on 9 girls and our 5 year old son. All in all pleased with the experience. Good selection of drinks and snacks in the cafe at reasonable price. Only negative, there’s no aircon as we came on a very hot day.

5 reasons to A V O I D

Here are 5 solid reasons to avoid going here!

A / Astronomically expensive

It’s incredibly overpriced…

If you have the misfortune to pay on the door, like I unexpectedly had to.

Expect to feel like you’ve had your pants pulled down.

I, however, thought I’d done the smart thing and bought a Groupon.

Which brings me to my second reason…

V / Void Groupon

Don’t buy a Groupon for this place.

They sell them, but don’t accept them.

I arrived, Groupon code ready to scan, thinking it was that simple.

It’s not at all simple.

They can’t scan the code.

ā€˜So, what’s the code for?!’ you cry.

They don’t know. They can’t scan it ā€˜as their systems don’t work like that’.

The hoops you have to go through, the small print, the clauses—make it so frustrating, that it makes the saving reeallly not worthwhile.

You have to ring head office to book. In advance. The manager gave me the number to ring - no answer.

The manager repeatedly told me there was nothing he could do.

With a child that has already been promised a bounce, there was nothing I could do…

So, I paid full price.

Which brings me to another good reason to avoid…

O / The manager could do more

Once inside, feeling like I’d been fleeced, I saw they had an offer for 24% off an hours jump. I’d have been happy with that. But it wasn’t offered.

The Manager could have done something.

Admittedly, by the time I’d tried and failed to call the had office, my patience had completely run out.

But leading up to that point, he could have just took a bit off the ticket to appease me (and stop me looking for other reasons to avoid going again in the future).

You could pay nothing!

I also realised I could have just walked in and paid nothing. ā€˜How!?’ You ask.

No one checks who’s paid for entry, or for what slot.

So, here’s the next reason to avoid.

I / It’s incredibly unsafe…

People wander in and out freely.

My child didn’t get a safety induction. Even my other child that was there for a party.

And neither did a lot of other kids there. Everyone is bouncing around without a care for their own safety or anyone else.

There’s basically no security or way to stop people going in and out. So, any nefarious character could wander into a venue full of kids.

Which brings me to my final reason to avoid…

D / Definitely don’t have a birthday party there…

It’s a horrible venue for a party.

No one to look after the party.

No music.

Or any other atmosphere.

Imagine a birthday party in a prison canteen and you’d be pretty close.

Except the food might be better…

They order pizzas in from Domino’s for kids to grab for themselves.

It’s the icing on the cake (that you obviously have to bring yourself).

If you’ve made it this far, you’re probably thinking—would he go...

Re Booking Ref: JGLO-312680 on16 Feb "17 I made this booking for 4 of our grandchildren who are currently visiting us, what a very unfortunate choice. Even though we booked for the 10.00 am slot and arrived at venue at 9.30am as you suggest it was impossible to get a parking spot anywhere near your unit, the amount of parking available is a joke. One of our drivers requires a disabled parking facility and when we approached the designated parking bays for disabled drivers we found these being filled by able bodied drivers and when I approached them they responded with, "well we did ask at reception and they said it was ok to park in these bays"! On pursuing this with your staff I had to get one of them to make the able bodied driver move away and then I had to physically stand in the only bay available until my daughter could gain access herself. Once inside, and as highlighted by many other reviews, the ambient temperature for paying spectators, despite your so-called "added heating" was very cold, not comfortable at all. Also as previously mentioned before the Coffee Shop leaves a lot of room for improvement/basic training in that, only ONE member of staff attending to long line of customers coffee's served were incredibly weak, one "shot" of coffee making TWO cups, that's MEAN practice general seating area had not even been cleaned/vacuumed from previous night toilets were not clean/tidy, debris/toilet paper all over floors and no soap for hand washing. Yes the children enjoyed the experience BUT you totally overlook the fact that it is not THEY that fund the visits! So to endure the above mentioned failings/conditions/parking on double yellow lines it only cost; a) 4 entries plus two sets of socks £ 48.00 b) 6 Spectator entries £ 18.00 c) Coffee Shop Bill £ 17.50 £ 83.50 Never...

My daughter loves this place and we were going to have her birthday party here - but not anymore. I have always thought it’s over priced even with the discount vouchers. Circa Ā£35 for two adults and a child to bounce for an hour is too expensive in my opinion. During our most recent trip, my girlfriend was told to get off the trampoline due to wearing Boost Trampoline Socks as opposed to Jump Giant socks (they were picked up from our drawer at home by mistake). She was effectively ā€œtold offā€ in a rude fashion by the member of staff that was very young and clearly doesn’t know how to speak to people, and lacks customer service skills. The ā€œmanagerā€ then approached my girlfriend and said ā€œwho signed your waiverā€. No explanation, no listening and a complete lack of understanding of the situation. All the staff are young and have a sense of power they wish to exercise. She was also spoken to rudely in front of my 4 year old daughter which is entirely unacceptable. The staff need to be trained in customer service as they are dealing with the general public. I understand not wanting a competitors socks at your trampoline park, however there is a way of going about it and all they have actually achieved from this is lost a customer, a lost party, and ironically ensuring we use their competitor in future. This place could be good, but it needs to be managed considerably better in order for it to be what it should be and worth the price...
