Lesley is responsible for us actually getting married. FACT!!

We first met at a venue open day 3 years ago when I visited for an afternoon out with a friend. I wasn't engaged, just obsessed with weddings and super nosey!!

I was instantly drawn to the creative set up at the back of the tipi. Lesley had styled it to perfection and I just knew that one day, I would book her too.

After a chat about all things wedding related, she convinced me to bring my then boyfriend along the next day for day 2. It was this day that we decided to skip rings and proposals, and just set the date there and then - all off the back of her amazing styling and warm manner.

Lesley has understood our vision from day one, she has taken time to get to know me/us and what our relationship is all about, she knows our style, what we would like and what we absolutely wanted to avoid.

We have changed our mind on colour schemes throughout the years of planning and even done a total styling u-turn but Lesley completely embraced our ideas even though it was something completely different for her, in fact she enhanced it with bigger and better ideas and when we saw it on paper, we just knew we had made the best decision.

Lesley is booked not only for styling but for flowers too, I was struggling to get my vision to become a reality with other suppliers so was thrilled when she said she would do it. After I sourced images of bouquets on Pinterest, you can imagine how happy we were to find she had chosen the same.

Sadly, we are a covid affected couple and have postponed a number of times. Lesley has taken this in her stride, allowed us to move dates easily and without complaint. I have no doubt our vision may continue to adapt whilst we hang in there for the day we had planned but I have no doubt in my mind that it will be bigger and better than ever thanks to Lesley.

We were introduced to The Rustic Wedding Company (TRWC) by our venue, Crockwell Farm, as one of their recommended suppliers for wedding decoration. Despite the relatively tight timescale (we first contacted TRWC in late November 2024 for a late April 2025 wedding), Lesley and the team responded promptly to our initial enquiry, and we quickly arranged a call with Lesley for an introductory discussion.

During that call, Lesley took the time to truly understand our theme, colour scheme, and overall vision for the day. She followed up with a clear and very reasonable quote, which we were more than happy to accept.

Fast forward to mid-April 2025: despite some unforeseen delays, we were invited to the TRWC showroom for a further consultation with Gemma. There, we had the opportunity to view a mock-up of our guest table décor. In addition to our own table, the showroom featured a number of beautifully styled example tables, which inspired us to incorporate additional elements into our decorations. One of these additions, navy chair drapes, was not readily available at the time, but despite the tight deadline, Lesley, Gemma, and the team went above and beyond to source them in time for our wedding.

Ahead of the wedding weekend, we were sent a comprehensive Styling Plan from Gemma and Lesley, which summarised everything we had discussed and agreed on. This was incredibly helpful and allowed us to share the details with our other suppliers to ensure that everyone was on the same page.

When we arrived at Crockwell Farm on Friday afternoon and saw the final setup by TRWC, we were absolutely blown away. Even though we had seen the mock-up, the full decorations in situ were amazing. The TRWC team not only brought our vision to life but also went above and beyond with thoughtful little details we had not even considered.

We will share photos as soon as they are available, but we surely say that TRWC brought so much beauty and magic to the most special day of our lives. We truly could not have done it without them.

We hope this email finds you well? Now the dust has settled and we have come back from our magical honeymoon. Kieran and I really wanted to get in touch following our most incredible wedding day to say just how grateful we are of the part you played in our day, and to say the BIGGEST thank you.

We don’t even know where to start, but right from the moment we booked you as our wedding stylist we knew our wedding day was going to be magical! Lesley was our guardian angel, helping keep us on track throughout the planning stages, helping us remember all of the little details and really allowing us to enjoy the process rather than it becoming so overwhelming! I’m not a very creative person but Lesley really helped bring my vision to life!

Fast forward the wedding day and we can truly say that the wedding day was above and beyond what we ever could have dreamed of. It was pure magic! Everything was taken care of we really didn’t even have to think of a thing. Lesley and her team worked their magic and the venue look even better than we could have imagined! The moment we walked through the Oak Hall to see our wedding breakfast room it truly took my breathe away. One of our guests said that all of our decorations/styling was so “tasteful”, so beautifully elegant and suited our personalities so well, and they really hit the nail on the head! We weren’t sure at first whether we needed a wedding stylist, but oh my goodness we are SO glad that we decided to do it, and in particular go with the rustic wedding company. THE best decision we made and we will be recommending it to all of our engaged friends :)

So we really just want to thank you again, for being such a big part of the most important day of our lives and making it so magical. You are all incredibly talented at what you do, and I really hope that everyone who EVER gets married in the world 🤣 gets to feel the way you have made us feel on our wedding day.
