You need to STOP charging people an entrance fee. We sell at this car boot but people come in and are already unhappy about paying the entrance of £3. People go car boot to SAVE money and you must help this factor. You are not big enough, established enough, to charge this. Even Dunton do not charge this type of money and they have hundreds of sellers. There is no 'buzz' from the public when they come in. It's missing the atmosphere. Just let people in free and you'll get the visitors. 2 weeks ago there were 2 small mini busses from Paris on a trip. Once i told them the fee they said no no NO! It's too greedy, calm down ...you'll end up losing in the long run, and scratch your head as to why... Just let people in. When the buyers come they always always moan about the entrance fee. Stop looking at making a fast buck. Instead build it up. I've heard people say 'i didn't bring my kids/husband/wife as i'm not paying for all of us. I mean work it out...You may have missed several buyers. THINK ABOUT IT. WE ARE ON HARD TIMES, LET THE PEOPLE IN FOR FREE AND STOP LOOKING AT HOW MUCH YOU CAN QUICKLY MAKE. I KNOW YOU'RE A BUSINESS AND THERE TO MAKE MONEY, BUT LONG TERM THIS IS GOING TO COST YOU WHEN PEOPLE GET FED UP AND GO TO THE FREE MARKETS IN THE SPRING ONWARDS. EVENTUALLY YOU'LL CLOSE AND BE REMEMBERED FOR CHARGING WAY WAY OVER THE TOP. GIVE SOMETHING BACK SO THE BUYERS SMILE AND SO THAT WE CAN MAKE A SALE, TO KEEP YOUR...

*editing review as parking has got alot better since not letting buyers in till 9am. They also have more spaces for buyers and not craming the sellers in.

You need to sort the parking out its terriable every week. We paid £3 to get in at 9.45 but we were at a grid lock for 40mins trying to find a space. Staff would not give refund if we wanted to leave,they said get here earlier. Unfortunately the slip road to the car boot is also jammed which ment your also queuing on that for 30mins!

You say its one in one out, but it doesn't seem to work that way, your pushing everyone in before 10am so you can get your £3 instead of £1. It's not safe for pedestrians as your shouting for cars to butt up close together and cars are going down the wrong roads just to fight for a space!

Ppl seem to park on the A road as they get fed up in waiting then get in for free. Perhaps gate off the sections and start charging ppl once they have parked up.

Pitches on the right side are squeezed together its hard to look at the stalls as people want you to keep moving. On the left side you seen to have the same regulars every week selling...

First visit today. Huge boot sale and plenty of decent sellers - not too many dealers. But getting in and out was diabolical. Massive queues of cars everywhere and no traffic management. Drivers were getting frustrated and having arguments in the queue - queue jumping, people being blocked in... you name it. Marshalls on the gate were telling people to park in the road obstructing traffic. Those parked in the grass verge got stuck in the mud. They'd tell you the car park was full then 30 seconds later let 30 cars in. The other thing is the advertised opening times are incorrect. By 10 o'clock sellers are packing up. It's totally put me off ever going back. Friends warned me it was a nightmare and I should go to Boreham instead so that's what I will do...
