Dell Quay PYO — Local services in Chichester

Had my little girls 'Berry' First Birthday here today and just wow! 😍 The staff were incredible and sooo friendly. Nothing was an issue and it was everything I imagined my baby's first birthday would be. The bigger kids enjoyed all the little games and activities that the farm has to offer. The café had tables inside all laid out for us to decorate, put presents on and set out cakes which was perfect. Everyone of our family and friends had an amazing time all left with some very yummy strawberries! Thank you to the whole team at Dell Quay PYO for an amazing Berry First...

The strawberries here are so delicious, they actually taste like strawberries 🤤, not like the ones bought from the store. I like how the pots are high above the ground so you don't need to bend and kneel down to pick the fruit. There are tunnels that are covered so even when the weather is not so great you can enjoy picking up strawberries and raspberries without getting soaking wet. There are raspberry tunnels as well with massive plants and very tasty fruit. The cafe serves delicious cakes, and also scone, jam, clothed cream and a pot of tea...

A lovely way to spend an hour with kids and reasonably priced at approx £7 a full punnet of strawbs (more for raspberries). Plus they fully expect you to enjoy the fruit as you pick (try telling kids not to!) which they've probably built into the cost. I was impressed by the range of vegan cakes and coffees served in compostable cups, however I wondered why the eco awareness couldn't be expanded to having cardboard punnets as well? They must go through hundreds of plastic...
