Booked a table in advance. Couldn't find how to do it on the website, so emailed directly. Lovely and easy. Arrived a few minutes after the time and could see my name on the system. The young lady that greeted us smiled and made eye contact on arrival. It appeared that they had given our table away and after some discussion between 2 staff members we were given a table. We were seated by someone whom we assume was the manger or owner who lacked in warmth. No smile just a head nod in the direction of the table. But don't panic about the lack of warmth from the owner, the building itself made up for it. My heart went out to the kitchen staff in that heat. We decided to go for Olives, the Americana and the Croucher. My friend called it the Croucher Cremation, Hidden sausage. Impressively the outside was burnt to a crisp and the middle was soggy. She ate about half. Mine was edible. I was on my last mouthful when we finally got the check back. We decided to go for broke and try some dessert, after waiting about 30 minutes to be asked. My dinner companion order the tiramsu. Biggest dessert I've ever seen! She compared it to her ex boyfriend, Impressive in size but dull in taste and with an excessive powder problem. The amount of chocolate powder on top was amazing. If she had sneezed I would have looked like I'd been dusted for finger prints. After she scrapped most of it off she realised her dessert came with entertainment. She used it to write words in. She said the prepacked tiramsu from her local corner shop was of better quality. We left a tip for the blond, young waitress as she was great, but we wouldn't return. The food wasn't great and the manager/owner didn't seem to want...

We stopped at the CH Ristorante yesterday and ordered 4 pizzas and drinks, not knowing that one hour later, we still will be waiting for our pizzas. How long does it take to make 4 pizzas? Hmm, it took them 1 hour and 15 minutes. I could walk home and make my own at that time, but we paid beforehand. As it was getting cold outside after 45 minutes of waiting, I asked if we could come inside instead of waiting for our order under their gazebo. As there was a free table, they said, 'yes'. I was grateful, at least for this, still waiting for our food. After 1 hour and 15 minutes, our 4 pizzas finally arrived. Honestly? A similar thing happened to me at a different place, but once they realised that we sat there without our foid for longer, they apologised and got us free drinks. But this hasn't happened yesterday. Nothing, but a dry apology. Awful customer service! We've noticed that they've had a second pizza oven, but it wasn't on, so we asked about it. The staff said that they've staff shortage. Ok, I understand, but if you've staff shortage, you know about it and you should tell everyone ordering food that there's a long waiting time. It has happened to me before that places had this issue, but they warned people about it and about the long waiting time. We wouldn't have ordered the pizzas if we knew there's such a long waiting time. This wasn't professional. I've members of family working in gastronomy, and this is not a way they would ever deal with a problem or customer care they would offer in such cases. Simply a disappointment and a disgrace. The manager should know better and teach their staff better customer service. What a shame,...

This was a scary and awful experience which is usually pretty good and never had an issue before.

My pizza came burnt initally and asked kindly for a new one to come which then had a huge amount of peppers, which was to the extent of being silly, which felt a bit spiteful and personal.

I shrugged it off, as I don't like making complaints. However, halfway through my pizza, I felt something sharp and wiry that came from my pizza, which could have ended very seriously. After complaining, the manager understood it to be a metal hair from a brush that cleans the oven. Although apologetic, it didn't feel sincere and could not make eye contact with us, and I had no apologies from the chefs or waiter, who was fairly rude and smiling.

I only was able to get my pizza refunded and a couple of cokes, although the experience was such that my party did not want to stay further for dessert. I won't be coming back, as if I had swallowed that mouthful, it could have been catastrophic, and I don't think the team understood the possible consequences of what could have happened if i swalloed that metal wire from the brush.

I would like to be in contact...

One thing that annoys me with restaurants (being a vegetarian) is not having a (v) next to items that are vegetarian. But as they have only been open for 3 days when I went I understand that they are just starting out. For starters we shared bruschetta and garlic bread, 4 came on one plate, but I would have happily had 10 to myself as they were amazing. Garlic bread seemed like something you could find in Tesco freezer section. For the pizza I went for the prosciutto without the meat and it was lovely, very filling and great base. I put a little chilli oil on top of mine which give it a little heat and something different. From the photos you can see how much they were enjoyed as I forgot to take photos before starting!!! For pizzas in Chichester I would definitely recommend this one over others in town.

Stumbled upon this place by chance! Tucked away on the outskirts of Chichester is a hidden gem for amazing Italian pizza (and pasta)! The atmosphere was great, especially as they've started their summer weekend shenanigans - opposite the car park is a lovely field setup with tables, football goals, DJ and bar. You can order food there or from the restaurant and walk over to the field. The staff are awesome as was the food and ice cold beers (Peroni on tap) - also have a great selection of wines and bubbles (lots being Italian of course). The pizza is paper thin, and the choice of toppings is insane! Oh and it tastes fantastic! Can't wait to return again this summer guys! ๐Ÿ˜Ž
