   Read moreItâs only accessible for those who can climb. Some slopes are so dangerous you could fall off. They should have rails and clear paths. Not paths with pebbles that can make you trip over. Especially, when you want to experience it but you canât because itâs not accessible for those that are disabled. Public Toilets are an issue, in that area as well. You would have to hold it in, till you arrive in Ashbourne. Or use the unhygienic toilets at DoveDale itself. Parking is ÂŁ2.00. However, if you like to walk or have a bike to ride; then you can park on the grass, along the way in to the entrance, for free. Youâd just have a mile extra to walk thatâs all. I wouldâve rated it 2 stars but for it, to appear on the reviews, I rated it 4 stars. I wouldâve gave a 4 star for real, if there was a lot more to do.    Read moreA perfectly shaped mini mountain when seen from the Dovedale side. Height is around 942ft above sea level, but it only measures 259ft from base to top. A quick steep walk takes you to the top and the views are very good looking down at Dovedale. What disappointed me was, seeing buildings and cars in the distance that appeared higher than the summit on the other side. I felt like I'd been fooled by the hill and despite its mountain like appearence, a lot of the surrounding green plateau land is higher.
