The views are amazing, Cheshire is gorgeous, but the undergrowth and overgrowth is so bad on this canal that in many places 2 boats would be unable to pass safely, if at all. There are many Canal and River Trust working boats scattered along here, but there never seems to be any work taking place. And yet they want a exhorbitant licence supposedly to pay for upkeep and maintenance of the canals... where is this upkeep and maintenance...
