We went to visit family who live a stones throw from the beach . Absolutely beautiful. The sand is first class and the water was so clear. And for a small village very popular as it is a dog friendly beach. The tarmac coastal path that runs above but parallel to the beach is lovely and picturesque and all along on the grass verge are benches adorned with flowers in memory of late loved ones all very neat and cared for with love. My relatives love the tranquility and their new life of calm and peace and every evening after work they litter pick along the beach. Worth the long journey for...

Beautiful beach ...however new visitors be aware of the tide coming in we got stuck carrying our two kids whilst up to our waists in water 🤦🏽‍♀️ had we left the beach at the far end we'd have been fine but we thought there was enough time to get back to the car park...it was hard to tell at first if it even was coming in ....until ...well I was losing my tiny mind thinking I was gonna have to launch the kids up the bank ...never in my life have I been so scared of nature ...we've not been back ...we are still mentally scarred 🤯🙈BUT it was immaculate & empty &...

I’ve been visiting Cambois everyday since September 2021 with my dog. Friendly people, friendly dogs, an amazing fish & chip shop and amazingly clean. If you’re lucky enough to meet Tracey & Rayer (mother and daughter) with their dogs who empty the dog poo bins and pick up waste off the beach everyday (every! day!) in all weathers …. Be sure to thank them for all their efforts. A beach that encapsulates everything wonderful about...

In the summer this is a bustling beach but in Autumn it tends to be fairly quiet. Do check tied times as in high tied there isn't much beach left to give your pooch a run. You will be surprised if the number of birds in this area... Captured a hawk today hunting! The Charlton's Pub is unassuming but serves lovely food and has a secured beer garden at the rear. Handy with toddlers and dogs. All in all a great place to go with Children and dogs.
