My daughter and I started riding at Budleigh Salterton Riding School in November 2018 and absolutely love this stable - from the horses to the instructors, owners, location and facilities. When it came time for our daughter's 4th birthday she insisted that we have her party at the riding school! The day was amazing... All six children were delighted to groom and ride the ponies, under the patient instruction of Jess. And the meal after was beautiful and delicious! Chrissy and Rob helped me to smoothly organise the event and delivered a truly memorable day for all - parents included! Everyone was raving about the experience after, awarding us a 'rosette' for the best party of the year. I honestly cannot recommend these guys enough. From riding here as a child to the long gap of not riding, the instructors have got me back into riding and built my confidence up all over again. They answer any questions regardless if you feel its stupid or not and they explain everything over and over until it makes sense. Wonderful, wonderful place. We held out daughters 5th birthday party here and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, kind and friendly. All of the girls loved their experience and the parents enjoyed coffee and hot chocolate by the fire in the beautiful cafe, where the party food was also excellent.
