Nice little lump over looking Grizedale tarn and with views of Dollywagon, St Sunday and Fairfield to the east and dunmail raise to the west. Lovely views into Grasmere and beyond to the South. The ascent via raise beck is easy with short scramble sections.. But can be really icy in the winter.. The north west corner path is very steep and a little exposed... But a good direct route Great for an easy walk in to...

Outstanding walk. Up to Grizedale tarn on the right hand side of brown tongue, following the coast to coast path, then up seat sandal and down the front ridge with just superb views. Only about five miles from the lay-by car park but an outstanding walk.
