Had to take a break as I was coming down from Scafell Pike. Just the place to relax and take in the scenery. In the Lake district beautiful scenery is not in short supply and Styhead Tarn is a beautiful spot surrounded by mountains. You can easily lose track of time here relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere, so time to move on, Great Gable here I come.

An amazing walk from Seathwaite Farm then heading up towards Stockgill Bridge then following the path up past Taylorgill Force and onwards over the foot bridge then follow the path straight then your Tarn will great you.

Previous wooden rescue Styhead Stretcher Box used to be my landmark at my first visits here. It's been replaced to metal one. Located close to Styhead Tarn is still iconic place for me
