Very nice long beach. Tide goes right out, so it's nice for younger kids to play on the beach, paddle in rock pools and shallow water. The West end of the beach, near the cafés was the most sheltered area when I visited. Steep slope to get down and back up though! Worth considering whether you really need everything you're taking as you might regret it at the end...

Well we weren't there very long just walked down to the Beach which was stunning. Little Cafe which was closed 😞 it was a weekday so maybe it's a weekend...
