We rang at 2pm asking if they were very busy and were told not. It was my daughters 5th birthday. We intended to take our 2 year old in soft play and 5 and 10 year old wanted use of trampolines. I got prices and asked a specific question ao if we came in next 15 mins they will be able to use trampolines without being too busy. Yes they said Got their 2.10pm to be turned away because a birthday party was starting at 2.15 with an hours use of trampolines. We had to leave as they told us they could not let anyone else in soft play OR trampolines.
Next visit was 2 month later and we returned for my daughters 2nd birthday during school hours as it would be quiet. We discovered her age soft play os now upstairs. Her visit was fine in terms of play however i paid around £4 for a toasty made frol those plasticy cheese packets and smart price bread! I was appauled as i expected atleast a proper slice of cheese and decent bread. They also dp not have any options of soft drinks for adults. As it was a hot day i did not want a hot drink and i also do not like fizzy drinks.
I was left drinking a childs fruit shoot and felt very silly can not believe they didnt even have plain mineral water or flavoured water
My biggest issue now with this place is my eldest is too big for soft play and only wants to ise trampolines Then ive a five year old who will want a mixture between soft play and trampolines. Then a very shy 2 year old who is not very adventurous that needs help to play constantly or else she will just play.
Id like to know how mr twisters think i can appropriately manage supervision of three children as how can i quickly get to my middle child if she needed me if hurt or whatever as well as look after the 2 year old. Its also a very silly idea to have a baby bit upstairs. Last time i had to leave my 2 year old with another childs grandparent to help a lady down the stairs with newborn twins and a 2 year old and was alone and hadnt been since soft play was still downstairs. I them had to help her again when her daughter needed the toilet.
Absoloutley ridiculous place now
Id highly reccomend use of pirates cove in jarrow their food is of good quality amd reasonably priced as well as being a...
Read moreOver all no complaints. We took our10 year old and our 19 month old and they both equally enjoyed it. The soft play area up stairs is just like sitting in someones sitting room with a built in soft play. Free run and cant get out anywhere. It has view windows all round balcony to see seatin and tampolines below. So we could keep an eye on our 10 year old on trampolines. Baring in mind the is a hight restriction and our 10 year old was just under the line for being let in. The was timings for trampoline use so maybe check before you go. 90 mins play our eldest got socks and a paper wrist band. We also had our dinner here. Once again no complaints as far as the food in these places go usually we fpund the quality to be not very good but we were pleasantly surprised. As stated on the menu the chicken bites were fresh chicken breast not the processed rubbish chicken nuggets u get in most other places. They were covered in a flour made batter. Very nice. Our 10 year old got cheesy chips, he has a bit appetite and almost couldnt finish them, they appeared to be frozen chips but i tried on my self quiet nice. My partner got tuna cheese toastie. The was no skimping on the tuna it was squidgin out the sides and he was impressed and enjoyed it. They have a Baby/mothers small room for breastfeeding and changing. Overall we all had an...
Read moreWent to book online for my 4 year old grandson, it asks for the number of adults and also for any more children aged from 0 to 15. Because I was attending with my wife, son and his partner and also their 3 month old twin daughters they wanted to charge us for all of us , total cost £25 for my grandson to play in the play area, I rang to query this and asked how they can charge 2 x 3 month old babies and 4 adults just so one child can play. They asked if I would pay for one extra adult and they would not charge for the rest, I agreed with this and turned up next day, the owner who was so rude said I had to pay the full price £25 yes £25 for my grandson to use the play area. I have been to loads of soft play areas and this place is a disgrace, typical example of people thinking of money and how much they can rip people off, HOW ON EARTH CAN YOU CHARGE 2 TWIN BABIES 3 MONTHS OLD TO VISIT HERE, AND ALSO 4 ADULTS... You can visit a farm with lots of rides and facilities and spend all day there, yet this place charged me £25 for an hour and a half for my grandson to play in their grotty dirty play area.. STAY AWAY AND DONT GIVE THIS GREEDY OWNER YOUR WELL...
