We bought a bed frame from the shop. It was very reasonably priced and the shop staff very polite and helpful. So far, a 5/5 experience. We live on a top floor flat and discussed if this would create any issues with delivery - we were assured it would be fine.
The delivery staff arrived on time. They were extremely frustrated by having to take the bed frame to the third floor and behaved terribly as a result - swearing at and abusing my poor wife who was home alone at the time. The behaviour was appalling and completely unacceptable.

Read moreDisappointing experience trying to donate today. Had a coffee table, some chairs, kitchen ware and a mirror all in good condition. The place was open for donations with a big sign saying they take furniture. The guy looked at my car for one second and said they weren't interested in any of it. I'd recommend going to British Heart Foundation Furniture and Electrical at Northgate Street instead. They gladly took all the big stuff and we brought the small stuff to the YMCA across the road.
