A peaceful retreat and nature reserve that hides away between two housing areas about 2 miles from Gloucester City centre.
Take a stroll along the footpaths that border the balancing ponds and keep a keen lookout for a variety of birds, flowers and other wildlife. Perhaps you might spot a heron, an egret or even a kingfisher if you are quiet and patient. Usually you will see ducks and some swans.
