Beverley Racecourse — Local services in Great Britain

I had a great time this year on lady’s day, this review is mainly due to bad manners from the bar manger, we was in the premier part this time, as we usually like the paddock area and get food, but sadly tickets sold out fast.

I was on 2d drink and I’d been there for over an hour and half. Enjoying the atmosphere, we went over to a bar and bought a vodka and coke, this bar was card only, I received my drink and then my friend asked me can you pay for mine, she was directly next to me, so I proceeded and did so. As we was walking away I thought oh where is my vodka in my cup, so I asked as I thought she must of made a mistake. She then replied rudely..it’s in the tin! And I thought oh I didn’t realise, and then she followed up with your to drunk you can’t drink from this bar anymore, I was ultimately shocked with what came out of this woman’s mouth, I thought how humiliating! And then she proceeded to elaborated further with this Fabrication and said I fell over trying to pay for my friends drink. to lie to my face was absolutely shocking! And to try and humiliate me was even more shocking! She was absolutely horrible, She told me she’s allowed to throw lies around on the bases she’s a bar manger and she’s within her right to randomly tell lies and accuse customers of being drunk when they are not. I challenge her because I was not having someone accuse me of anything that isn’t actually true or happening, I 100% believe this woman was gaslighting me and wanted a reaction. That type of behaviour should not be tolerated or allowed! This woman should lose her job! She had no evidence to back up her lies and to fabricate a whole story is just ultimately very narcissistic and...

Visited Beverley race course with my wife on our 5th anniversary this year. 11th August. Ladies day. Dressed to the 9's, and found that the race course and some of the staff were exemplary, however, some were not. And there were too many drunk teenage kiddies than should be allowed.

The race day went smoothly, the horses looked in good health, the food was burger van, but very good. The organisation of the bar definitely needs some work as 4 or 5 staff were sharing 1 till. And paying took 5mins per transaction, which is rubbish.

But I would still recommend visiting here as the course, most of the staff and the event were well run. If only for a percentage of issues that can be avoided...

Disabled experience a disgrace. Racing UK members both of us and my friend in a wheelchair. You can't come in this entrance we were told you need to go get some tickets at another entrance. No tickets left and this was only 12.15. Go back up the road to a gate and he will let you in there. Not a very organized outfit at beverley. Let's go get our place on the disabled viewing ramp Holes and divets to overcome before we could get our wheelchair up and in place. Toilets right at the other end of the course. Come on beverley you can do a lot better I'm sure. Wont be going to your course for a long time. Please reply to this letter if you can. ATTENTION TO DETAIL IT'S NOT...
