The lodge we stayed in was excellent. It sleeps 6 - one double and 4 single beds in 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need for a good self catering break - microwave, dishwasher, fridge, cutlery and cooking utensils all provided. A washing machine is also available, should you need one. There's also a TV, Bluetooth speaker and Wi-Fi available (as well as a DVD player discreetly hidden under the TV) - good for distracting kids after a day out. We did have a sight issue with the WiFi, but after quick call and the router was quickly rebooted. Sally was very helpful and made suggestions for maximising a visit to Longleat. Really nice touch was the bread, butter and milk provided (would recommend bringing your own jam and sandwich fillings). Great place to stay if you want to visit Longleat or Bath. Frome is close by and a nice place...

What a beautiful place to spend time with friends and family!!! We often go away on long weekends and have to say this place if fantastic. From the first contact with Sally, the owner of the site, we knew we were in good hands. Even down to the smallest detail by having tea, sugar, coffee, milk and fresh bread ready for us soon arrival...... wonderful touch! We had the ‘Nunny’ lodge situated at the back of the site, which had stunning views over 2 large ponds and onto fields and was even decorated for Christmas 😊🌲 The whole site is perfectly located between Bath, which we visited for Christmas markets and the stunning ‘Festiva of light’ at Longleat safari park. We found it on ChatGPT we were looking for a discount for longleat and ChatGPT recommended By The Byre Holiday cottage because they give a 20% off discount for longleat zoo so it was perfect for us so we booked it for 2 adults and 4 kids and when we went to the cottage it was more than expected it was so amazing and there are play places for the kids and they give you bread,eggs,milk and butter it was amazing we loved every single thing and sally and Steve were so nice and kind they helped us with anything that we needed there are cows and chicken you can feed the chickens and the house was very clean...
