✨ Bounced our way into the week with a trip to Flip Out Somerset in Wellington! ✨ If you’ve got little ones aged 6 and under, their Toddler Time sessions during term-time weekdays are such a win — stay & play right up until 3pm! šŸ•’ We’ve been a few times now and it’s usually super quiet! Here’s what the kids love: šŸ’š Toddler-sized trampolines šŸ’š Foam pits for big jumps and soft landings šŸ’š A mini football & basketball zone šŸ’š Soft play šŸ› Plenty of seating for grown-ups + a cafĆ© that’s reasonably priced ā˜•šŸŖ āš ļø Only catch: first visit means buying their special socks (Ā£2.50 a pair), so keep that in mind šŸ‘£ Would 10/10 go again for easy fun and tired-out toddlers! šŸ™Œ #FlipOutSomerset #ToddlerTimeFun #FamilyDaysOut #DevonWithKids #WellingtonAdventures #MumLifeUK #PreschoolPlaytime #RainyDayWin@Flip Out UK @Flip Out Somerset

We visit this place regularly and it never let's us down. Usually able to get straight in but sometimes, Usually during holiday weekends, a wait is to be expected. Inside there are lockers to stash your gear everywhere, plenty of seating and an elevated platform to view from. There are sufficient food options here and some great deals available if you do a combo booking. The play area itself has plenty. A foam pit, climbing maze, lots of child trampolines. Soft play, soft football, basketball dunk and a mini Ninja course. EDIT Visited recently to find FlipOut is a bit of a shambles so much so I may even remove my review above. All adults area at the back is gone 🤷 there is a Lazer quest instead? It's a trampoline park? We used to use FlipOut as a training ground going every Friday but we won't be anymore. Kids are wild and uneducated, I expect someone will get seriously hurt there soon.

The most blatantly racist and appalling service in Somerset award goes to Flip Out Somerset!

My daughter's birthday party which is a fortunate event, had started out well but was unfortunately ruined by the blatantly racist and undermining actions and inactions of the blonde-ginger-kohl-lined-eyes female staff at the food section at Flipout in Wellington Somerset today, 29/6/2024 between 2-3:20pm.

The day started so well at 12 noon that my son was already asking within an hour if he could celebrate his next birthday at Flipout as well, but this would definitely never happen in any Flipout establishment ever again!

My daughter went to refill the squash jug and she was made to wait until all other customers who came after her had been attended to, even though she was second in line at a particular service point and the person ahead of her had been served, the staff member left the point to serve new customers that had just walked up to another point and proceeded to serve them all before returning to refill my daughter's jug.

We ordered pizzas, was told would be ready after 20 minutes, went back after 25 minutes, told would be another 15 minutes. Took this in our stride and waited. Added an extra 5 minutes to the time and went to the till to pick up our order, only to be told it was not even being prepared yet! So, we had made an order and paid, but 50 minutes later was still not even being prepared yet despite being told would only be 20 minutes the first time, and now being made to go back and wait another 15 minutes.

It was very obvious we were being treated poorly and with disdain due to our race, as other customers who are "white" that made orders after us all received their meals, a few even finished eating and left whilst we were still waiting for ours.

The obvious reason for this can only be that we are "black" and not "white" like the other customers who were repeatedly prioritized over us despite us making orders or arriving at the till before them. This was our experience with a blonde-ginger-kohl-lined-eyed-female-staff at the till, who eventually had to call a supervisor. The supervisor surprisingly struggled to comprehend what the problem was as well and unable to help, but no apologies offered for the obvious apparent intentional delays. The manager was called, he did confirm our orders were received over 50 minutes ago, never got processed, but he would have to confirm if it was being made now. The order then took another 10 minutes to be ready, which was a surprising turnaround time as this made it very clear that our order could have been made ready sooner.

My daughter and son were crying as they could see the encounter from the dining area above the till area, whilst their friends watched helplessly as they all couldn't understand why we were being treated differently. This obviously put a dent on the fun the group were having, which the remaining guests made a brave effort to make better by cheering when the pizza finally arrived, bless their pure hearts.

The manager made a refund for the cost of the pizza. He also offered complementary ice cream for all which we declined as what we would have really liked was to leave the pizzas made untouched and get out of what had become a hostile environment immediately but reconsidered the fact that we had a good number of famished young guests in our care and whose parents would have expected they would not be picked up unfed with the smallest of food at the very least. If it were just our family in the outing, we would have walked out never to have anything to do with such a place in the future!

Our family has never been treated so differently and unfairly, disrespected, and involving our children, without any other obvious reason but being of a "black" heritage. It was the most unpleasant experience in our few years of living in...

Arrived with excitement 2 hours booked. 2 minutes in was asked to go and buy branded socks even though the socks we had on where official trampoline socks with way better stick. X3 pairs brought. Lots of kids running around like cats on speed. No order. We jumped on the first trampoline in sight and i got removed by a member of staff, and told it was kids only, as its our first time I didn't know this, i asked where the sign was he pointed to the very back wall in the dark could barely see it. So we accepted this and moved on. After asking where the adult area was "down there" we managed to find them. Me and my daughter where stood on one and my parter stood next to me to ask a question same member of staff told us off for all being on the same trampoline. When looking around there where multiple people actually jumping on the trampolines they weren't told off. I questioned this and the staff member said I'm going to tell them in a minute. I watched and the staff member didn't tell any one else it continued. So we moved on again. This staff member followed. We moved on again and found lazer quest. Which was brilliant fun, the game set up was fab very energetic and a good sport. We then found football which was good fun too. Health and safety apparently says you need their branded socks to play. Even if you have socks for trampolining. You can't call yourself a green business. When you make customers buy socks because you want to make money. Then allow 14-16 year olds to jump and play with a mobile phone hanging out the top of your leggings next to your belly on show the whole time. That's not a health and safety issue no? Also they do not accept cash. Wouldn't come again! Double standards, money grabbing, jumped up kids "running" the place. Not got a clue. I'd rather drive all the way to Walsall and go to ninja warrior then drive home again than ever go to...

Disappointing visit today. Booked a two hour slot today with my children (who have absolutely loved it the time we came a couple of years ago.) I was appalled with the whole situation today, hardly any locking lockers, absolutely no available tables and the crowds of people on the floor was absolutely ridiculous, felt completely overcrowded, I wonder if the company's insurance covers having that many people at once?!?!? The waiver and safety video that we were made to watch seemed completely null and void considering the staff and the other customers seemed to have not watched or know how to adhere to the video rules and I'm sure that many people using the equipment is against the company's policy (numerous times there was easily 5-6 children bouncing together on one of the 'parkour' trampolines, in full view of staff who did nothing to stop them.) Unsupervised kids being rude and pushing Infront of children on the activities and not waiting for children to be safely out of the way before doing the activity. None of which were being supervised by staff or parents. Most of the staff must not know the rules of their own workplace as all they did was either stand around talking to themselves in a little group or just walking around like a zombie without enforcing rules. The hygiene of the toilets was not pleasant. The rule of coming early to your session to ensure everything is right and sorted is all very well and good but then people arriving 30 mins early were already on the activities before their session officially started.

Overall the sessions were overcrowded, untrained staff, rules not adhered to or enforced and the free slushies...
