Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

I have been going to this Costa since it opened and I’ve always been aware of the 90 minute parking allowance which they introduced about a year after they opened but because I don’t check the signs every day I didn’t realise that they had sneakingly change the rules and introduced a no return within two hours which I don’t understand. Why would you not want a customer to come back and buy more stuff off you within two hours oh I’ve got it its so you can charge a customer £100 for doing it well this happened to me recently I went into the store. I started to have an asthma attack when I realised I forgotten my phone so I went home got my inhaler and my phone came back 25 minutes later and had a coffee and something to eat about a week later. I received a parking charge notice for £100. The staff were unable to do anything about this saying they have no control over the car park which I find very hard to believe Costa Customer Services are also saying the same thing that they have no control over the park car park what a load of rubbish. I think Costa ‘s are just treating their customers with contempt. Not only do they want to make money out of you with expensive coffees and food they have thought of another revenue stream which is to make money out of customers accidentally overstay when Parking. Me and my friends will no longer be Costa customers so that’s probably about £10,000 a year of...

When first opened was a lovely store. I have no issue with the service or the products but the cleanliness has taken a massive nose dive. Tables that say they have been sanitised are still covered in crumbs and the toilet looks like it hasn't been cleaned properly in months. Always have to clean it myself before using. I used to work in coffee shops so know the nightmare of keeping things clean, but it seems like the toilets get a quick once over and that's it (the toilet seat is wiped). AVOID COSTA … UNLESS YOU WANT A £60 PARKING FINE !!!!!!!! I’ve always been Costa fan number 1 , but my last visit as a disaster. Me and 2 friends decided to have an afternoon catch up at Costa wellington, we’ve spend around good amount of money there between us . To my surprise 4 days later I’ve receive a fine for using the car park for 1h 52 minutes . I went to the store to speak to the manager and to my surprise they were not helpful at all . I find unfair being penalised for spend the afternoon spending money inside the shop . I will NEVER again will waste my money...
