Hyderabadi Biryani, Narborough Road, Leicester (Only Takeaway) — Local services in Great Britain

We just did a takeaway from this eatery and can finally say this is one of the best biryani we have eaten in all of Leicester! It is definitely value for money given the generous serving size and chunky pieces of meat. We ordered two portions of chicken dum biryani and it comes with complimentary servings of mirchi ka salan and yogurt raita. The mirchi ka salan also tasted good and the raita was well-made with slices of onions, cucumber and carrots and some herbs. Glad that the taste of the biryani was mildly spicy and it definitely was freshly cooked with good quality ingredients. It is rare that we have been impressed with Indian eateries in Leicester and this is a rare gem. Also ordered a portion of chicken 65 and that too was tasty and had a bit of spice kick to it but very flavourful. Overall very pleased with the taste, portions, price and will try their lamb biryani and other signature dishes next time....

I decided to treat my son to some Hyderabadi biryani since he loves it. When I placed my order, I specifically requested a very mild version. Excitedly, I handed over the parcel to my son and urged him to open it.

To our surprise, the aroma suggested it would be exceptionally spicy. He took a cautious spoonful and quickly abandoned it because of the intense heat.

Curiosity got the best of me, so I tasted it myself. Trust me, it was painfully spicy, and my lips are still tingling.

I won't be ordering from this place again. It seems their idea of "mild" differs greatly from mine, and probably from many others as well.

Sorry, but you really let me down, guys..

I have been looking for best Biryani in Leicester area I have tried many places still taste were lacking until I found this gem in Leicester , Awesome Chicken Biryani & Lamb Biryani with a reasonable price and no compromised in taste. The taste is exactly same like Shah Ghouse, Paradise etc. Next time i will definitely order from them. Thank you Hyderabadi Biryani guys you...
