North Third Reservoir — Local services in Great Britain

Stunning place, great views of Sunrise and Sunset, lots of wild birds to spot too. Quieter than I thought for a bank holiday weekend - but that’s not a complaint! Great place for a relaxed camping trip with a few nice walks nearby. Boggy / Marshy in places but ok to walk on with care. Few people paddle boarding / kayaking on the Reservoir which was nice to see. Unfortunately, the scenery is slightly spoilt by the amount of litter left by previous campers :( My friend and I collected as much as we could - including a blanket, vapes, and a whole BBQ? It’s a shame it’s not looked after, but didn’t ruin our stay. Would return in a hurry....

Some nice views but was just a passing visit and didn't get a chance to stop and explore the area. Quite a busy area due to the number of scenic spots and various tourist attractions in the area. Some car parks available and roadside areas, but all seemed quite full and crowded. Would make for some good walks due to trails...

Great 5k ish circular walk around the reservoir. Bit muddy in spots but thats half the fun. Our last visit was in winter so you avoid the flies. The flies are bad in late summer, be warned. The cliffs are steep at the top so keep an eye on little ones. Havent taken the kayak out but theres a little island you...
