If I could, I'd give 0 stars. Arrived here to meet up with friends. We have 2 children and them. So thought gonna sit in playground. It was coming up to lunchtime. I am type 1 diabetic (freshly diagnosed), to take my medicine (insulin) I have to eat carbs. Otherwise glucose levels would go dangerously low. And anyone who has or has dealt with someone with Type 1 diabetes - once it goes down, it will just go down. So I thought, I'll order a bap. Read that they don't do take away food. I thought I will order bap, gonna physically take just a bap with me and sit outside and eat, watching my kids play (Before anyone says anything - they already had snacks, ice cream and food sorted). There were several free tables inside. I got seated and I said to the waiter - I can order now. I know what I want. He rudely replied that there are other tables ready to order so I have to wait. When he was ready to take my order, I said that can I take just a bap with me. I'll leave plate. He seemed like he didn't want to hear anything from me and said that "we don't do food on lawn in play area because there are children and children brake plates" I wanted to tell him that in 6 year time my children always ate from grown up plates and NEVER they have broken ANY plates, but I kept my cool after my children got insulted. There was a table in play area with 3 people eating breakfasts from restaurant. Nobody said anything about that. I tried to explain that I'll order it in here but I just want to remove and take just the bap with me. He abruptly said "we don't do take aways". I was left speechless. Upset. Angry. I just left. My husband walked in and told what's gonna happen. He managed to sort it out and I had my lunch. I work in hospitality and I always try to be polite to customers. But this staff members attitude was beyond anything. I was gobsmacked how can anyone speak like that to...

I took my grandson to the cafe & meet my sister in law for lunch ,the cafe is lovely there's in side eating & a covered out side large area ,the staff are very friendly & helpful & the menu is good & good value for money I had wild mushroom on toast with salad I wasn't expecting the large portion I had it was delicious ,my grandson had crumpets which he eat both of them he's only 22 months old ,there is a play area at the back but I was very disappointed it had nothing he could play on it was set up for older children there wasn't even a baby swing but I would definitely recommend coming here ,they don't take bookings it's first come first served, it does get busy as very popular there's a car park as you first drive in or a larger car park past the cafe. I meant my sister in law again today at the cafe the wild mushroom dish is on the breakfast menu now & not available after 11.30 so I had a jacket potato with beans & a side salad very good portion & lovely staff just as friendly & helpful...

We decided to come here because they have a milk vending machine. Firstly visited the petshop in which I would give 5 stars for friendly staff and selection of products. We looked in the windows of the butchers and farmshop but we decided on the cafe first and go in afterwards to make any purchases but unfortunately due to lack of customer service in the cafe we didn't visit them due to being so angered by how we were treated in the cafe. Due to having the dog with us who are not allowed inside, we made the mistake of going straight to the outside seating. We were told off, then bought menus and told by the rude waiter he would be back to take our order. 20 minutes later he walked straight past us to take an order from a large walking group who had only just come in!! We decided not to stay and part with our hard earned money if they couldn't be bothered with us. We definitely won't be returning and other parts missed out on...

Pet food place very cheap. Butchers are lovely. Not Sainsbury's price but for a treat, I'd totally recommend. Farm shop had most things with prices marked which is a bonus. Some things expensive but other things very reasonable. I would go back. I went back today. Sadly, the sirloin steak at the butchers today was £27 for 2, not very large ones. The fat was VERY VERY thick and probably cost £10 on its own which the dog will enjoy. Not as nice and good value like my last visit. Considering my local fancy butcher does local sirloin with very little fat, twice the thickness and around £20 for 2, Pamphill has priced itself out of my budget range. The main shop is still reasonably priced.
