This is absolutely the WORST CV writing company I ever had the misfortune to hire. I uploaded an older CV for content purposes only. The writer emailed me the exact CV with a format change and had the audacity to rename it 1st draft. Returning the client's original CV is NOT a 1st draft. Then to add insult to injury, after I informed her that she returned my original CV she stated that she would work on revising it. The second draft was a cluster of misspelled words and bad grammar. I spent more time editing the second draft than I would have had i just written it myself. This went on and on for several weeks. Each time I expressed my disappointment and disapproval.

I finally had enough and told the writer, Vivien that I could no longer continue to edit her work. As it is taking me more time and energy. As such, it is counterproductive to pay a fee if I was the one doing all the work. Thereafter, her manager, Katy Wilson intervened, but resent me the EXACT draft that contained the misspelling and horrendous grammar. Shortly thereafter, they changed my order to accepted and completed status. I accepted nothing. On the contrary, I terminated the agreement with my last message expressing my disappointment and disapproval of the writer's workproduct. Their Quality officer, Amy sent me an email that she would change the order status back to unapproved. That has not been done. Nothing has been done.

If I could give this a negative star I would. PLEASE DO NOT use this company! YOU will be extremely disappointed. Had I read previous reviews earlier, I would not have hired the CV Centre Aka The James...

Below is a copy of my compliant sent to customer service yesterday. Posting here as they have missed yet another target deadline that they set for themselves of a response in 12 hours. The below mail doesn’t include other mistakes made such as not finishing a sentence and just ending with the word 'between'!

"I placed an order for the senior consultant bundle (£199) on the 2nd Feb after your website saying the first draft should be ready in 3 days. Once I purchase the bundle the first message said the estimated time once my info was provided was 6 days. Whilst the website still showed 3 days which I found to be misleading and manipulative product description and sales tactic.

I provide additional details on the 3rd. I didn't receive the first draft until the 17th (14 days later) and I provided feedback that day which consisted of only minor changes and I had asked a few questions

I have just received the updated copy today 24th (7 days since first draft and 21 days since I signed up)

This updated draft is frankly embarrassing and worse than the first and a step backwards. It has basic language errors, hugely inconsistent, missing headers, no feedback to the questions I had asked, some comments had just been copy and pasted into the document. This draft has clearly been rushed and not proof read.

At best this has been written by someone who is skilled but only had 15mins to work on it, at worse it was written by someone with limited knowledge of English, recruitment and industry.

I wrote my CV, and I thought it was good. But once one of my university professors told me that it was good, but not perfect and could be better.
