Rutland water beach car park — Local services in Great Britain

Very surprised how nice the beach was, we had a great day, There is shops here, so if you forget lunch, its not a problem/ hot and cold foods and coffee etc.

You can play crazy golf and there is a great park erea for the kids..

The beach area is nice, water had reseeded due to the hot weather, water was about 22, so it was not cold.. ( if you go make sure you have beach footwear)

It was lovely, people / family's having bbq/gazebo all having fun.. it really is a nice place to be on a hot day, there is trees for shade and the car park is not far from the beach area, so if you struggle its not too much of a hard walk

Just turn up pay for parking in the car park when leaving, its not too...

We have been here first time with our baby. Came at 6:44pm. The parking is closing at 8pm. Husband paid £3.70 for ticket at the car park. And we moved to the gates where machine took our ticket and didn't let us out. Tried to pay again with bank card but nothing. We weren't alone who had the same struggle. At machine there's help button but nobody answered maby because it was sunday. Trafic was horrible. After 10mins waiting we tried to exit again. Machine showed to pay £6 and finally...

The beach is sandy with shallow water that is great for young children. Unfortunately there is a strong cloying smell of manure - other people seemed not to be bothered by this but my children were retching initially. It put me off my sandwiches.
