Sykes Lane Take Away Cafe — Restaurant in England

This might be the worst cafe I have ever been to. I would rather eat food out the bin then go here again. I can’t describe how bad the golden doughnut is. it’s not even golden and the actual doughnut looks like it about 50 years old. and it looks like a bum whole. and the ice cream is basically cream. the chips don’t even get me started on them £5:00 for 5 chips and the stalest cheese in the world. and the hot dog didn’t even have butter. you may as well eat sand and water. it would be the same consistency. the hot dog tastes like it has been on the floor and the coffee tastes like piss. The golden doughnut also came with some wood that snapped half way through eating it. And the doughnut if you through it in the water it would start a tsunami. If you finished this all your teeth would be on the floor you would end up...

Lovely place, great walks and beautiful views. Sadly blighted by a poor information and appalling service at the Crafty Fox Cafe. Typical British Tourist Attraction 'service' - arrived 1.50pm, car park shuts 4pm, checked with Tourist Centre and told they shut at 4pm, checked with two staff in cafe and (after they had discussed how long they wanted to stay) was told they "would not be shutting until after 3.30pm". Went for a really nice walk carefully timed to be back at cafe around 3pm for sit down with coffee and cake. Arrived back 3.05pm - cafe and Tourist Centre shut. Very disappointing and very poor business as a party of 10 and successive groups of people arrived at the cafe also expecting it to be open. Lovely place to go but...

Been here before, found it lovely and never had problems, today however after a long bike ride we pulled up for a quick bite of lunch, ordered 2 bottles of coke but were given cans instead? Then they refused to exchange then even though it was their mistake, then ordered cheesy ships and a sausage roll, we were told to wait to be called for our food to be ready, waited over 20 minutes for some chips and when we went to collect it they had forgotten the sausage roll which, After reminding them, I saw them quickly throw it into a microwave. Showing massive incompetence for such a simple tasks!! Fortunately the chips were lovely but was just spoilt by such bad service, no apologies for...
