The park itself is a lot of fun and great exercise - the kids all love it. However the party package was not what I expected for the price.
My childās friend had her party at Ryze last year and their party host stayed in the room with them, organising games and a wee disco. Not so when we went recently - our party host was nice enough, but only popped his head in from time to time and there were no games (he also forgot the ice poles until I reminded him at the end!). And Iāve no idea where the promised Bluetooth speaker for the party was!
For Ā£189 for 10 children I got: socks, 1 hour play, some basic pizza that my daughter didnāt even like, diluting juice and an ice pole. Another disappointment was no party bags!! Compared to how much some other local places give (for a lot less) I really feel I didnāt get my moneyās worth.
And one thing to watch out for!! The handed me a tablet to complete feedback and told me ābut donāt press submit because the manager likes to see them firstā... it didnāt hit me until I got home that I had basically given them a chance to change my ratings and comments!
As a play venue - expensive but good exercise and fun **
As a party venue - way over-priced, no party bags and an absent āhostā **
We wonāt be booking any more...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI won't be returning here. My daughter has a protected characteristic, a disability, and the discrimination from staff was absolutely disgusting. My daughter uses a wheelchair and has low muscle tone. We were minding our own business and I was bouncing with her and she was loving it. We do this in the garden on our trampoline. I obviously know how to do it safely. I had 4 members of staff come to me to tell me I had to get off the trampoline. 4 times I explained I'm on as a carer. This is in full view of other people too. The last one come and said for safety I don't want you hurting her you have to get off. I paid for 2 hours for my daughter to be there and felt she wasn't welcome. I told the last member of staff I know what I'm doing and I wouldn't hurt my own child. The condescending and horrible looks she was giving us was not acceptable. I have never felt discrimination this bad ever since having my daughter and taking her on days out. The staff really need more training on disabilities and carers because I certainly wouldn't he putting my daughter at risk of harm. I was merely bouncing with her to ensure she was having a fun time and she was loving it. Such a shame she won't be returning because we didn't feel welcome and felt singled out because of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy 5 year old grandson was at a party here. The staff are very friendly and the sit down food was great. I however feel that this place is not great for young children especially for parties in relation to safety. The children had a staff member looking after their individual party, the children were to go to them if hurt or wanted to leave the area; adults had to wait in the viewing area. One occasion my grandson took a bad tumble down a high slide another adult in the area brought him out to me not a staff member, no staff member approached him or checked him out. On second occasion he walked out the bounce area of his own accord, none of the staff stopped him, thankfully I had seen him going to leave so run out to get him. If a child decided to leave the building there would be nothing to stop them as no security. It's important to note here that the viewing area is quite a distance from the area where children can leave the bounce area. I think with young children there should have patent supervision in the actual area that does not have to be paid for. In general the place looks like it would be great for older children and adults and offers great facilities. I don't however feel this is a safe environment for young children especially not...
