The Healing Weekend — Local services in Great Britain

Lesley and I cannot state loudly enough how much this long weekend of laughter and happiness with similar chilled-out souls has enriched our world, increased our friendship group and given us the opportunity to feel healthy and restored after the challenges that every day life can throw. Elaine, you, Ron and the whole team are simply superb at understanding and enabling a huge community to grow in strength and raise awareness of how simple changes and self appreciation can make massive differences to us all as individuals and as a part of the world we live in. The healing on offer and the energy and spirit of the whole weekend make it a highlight that we start planning for the day after we get home! I am a better man because of this event and for that I am extremely grateful. Camping is a joy too. Those guys bring total dedication to the weekend. The food, the campfire, the mobile phone charging, the sheer willingness to do anything they can to help is worthy of note!! Butterflies Healing will be there and I will be right beside my fabulous wife to ensure we bring everything we can to enhance the experience for every visitor, healer and even doubter that has heard the rumour and wants to discover what it is all about. The atmosphere for starters is really awesome and Only £10 a day to get in, around £5 all day for the workshops also. All kinds of healing modes from Shamonic to reflexology. Book in early for any healings that you want to try sometimes you have to wait for the second day because certain healers are booked up quickly. But in general you can normally get what you fancy. There are different sound bath experiences on offer so just take your time in choosing anything because it is like a sweet shop. So many temptations on offer (oolala) 🤣 Loads of crystal stalls. Main tent has a few medium sessions over the 3 days. It is quite a journey of discovery but worth the experience.

I also recommend the camp site 3 miles away. Saturday night after the festival, the camp site has a large campfire that lasts for hours.

The festival is Special because it feels like a gathering of real friends, or a home-coming it is so lovely, You'll love it, so my advice is try it you'll like it.

I went to The Healing Weekend for the first time last year as a few of my colleagues were talking about it and I thought I would take a look. I took my tent and my dog and drove up to Highbridge. Some of my colleagues were taking part and had explained that it was a good all round experience. I was amazed at the diversity there and the amount of stuff you could link into. It was well managed and not too expensive in the main. There were two big tent with a huge selection of stalls to browse and buy from, a variety of Professionals doing readings and another big tent for performances and workshops. Things went on for families, couples and singles and the music was awesome! So.... a good all round experience and with Camping so reasonable an affordable stay. My only suggestion is better facilities in the camping and for people to watch their children around these facilities as some absolutely wrecked the well cared for loos whilst playing with their friends.
